Wow, gym bags have gotten a lot more sophisticated since the last time I bought one! (That was back in the late 90s, when big boxy duffles roughly the size of a car engine block were the norm.) I'm amazed with all the perks and features this little guy has given me since I bought it to use as my climbing gym bag: - The shoe pocket is great for keeping my sweaty climbing shoes separate. - The inner zip pocket is a perfect place to store my rings and other easily-lost valuables while I exercise. - The outer side-zip pockets give great quick-access for things like locks or deoderant sticks. - After all that, I still have plenty of room in the main pouch -- even with shoes in I've been able to cram clothes and a bike helmet inside. - The mesh pocket on the other end from the shoe pouch easily fits a water bottle or other random items -- I fit a big tub of leftover ramen in it after dinner one night! - The shoulder strap is durable and well-padded. - The material looks nice and feels really solid, as do the zippers and the overall construction. I know it will last me a while! FINALLY, I want to highlight one more great feature of this bag that's not totally clear from the advertising: There is YET ONE MORE zippered pouch that runs along one side of the bag lengthwise, zipping at the seam between the outer side pocket section and the rest of the bag. This can be great for storing sweaty clothes that you want to keep separate -- or in my case, I keep my climbing harness in there to save room in the main compartment. All this, and the bag is still surprisingly compact and light! If I were using it as a regular gym bag, maybe I'd struggle to fit, say, huge cushioned running shoes and a full change of formal work clothes. But bottom line, I've been amazed by - how much in can hold, - how well it organizes what it's holding, - how compact it stays while holding it.

This bag is very well constructed and includes more pockets for storing all kinds of items. The main storage compartment is roomy that includes a separate end accessed shoe compartment. The main compartment still has enough room for a change of clothes with shoes in the shoe storage. Inside is another mesh storage at the opposite end of the shoes storage, and a little zippered storage for keys or jewelry. The other outside end has a mesh storage that is the full width of the bag and nearly top to bottom. On the top side is a full length storage for possibly wet items, I would use a plastic bag first. The lining is a good quality nylon. Also I the side are two smaller compartments. The inside is well sewn and the outside is made of a good quality canvas-like material with the seams tucked inside. Although canvas-like, it appears breathable too. Tho handles can be Velcro together and are cushioned. There is included a clip on shoulder strap with a cushioned shoulder patch. A very well made bag for many uses. I highly recommend this bag. It’s perfect in size, use, and make. It was also delivered well in a good size shipping box and in a good quality plastic bag inside.

Great gym bag. I was tired of lugging around a bag in which I only used half the space. This is a great compact alternative. I wear a size 12 shoe, and can still fit them in the shoe pocket, though I do have to put them in one at a time. The shoes take up a decent amount of the bag's interior space, but I can still fit socks, a pair of boxers, gym shorts, shirt, and small toiletry bag with a room to spare. You would have a hard time also fitting a regular-sized towel though. The exterior pockets are great too. Two small zippered pockets are nice for things like headphones, phone, keys, wallet, etc. I know there are pockets on the inside designated for items like these, but prefer the accessibility of keeping them in the outside pockets. There is also a nice full length pocket on that side as well. The one thing I wish it had was a better water bottle pocket. The mesh is alright for smaller bottles like a standard disposable water bottle, but for any larger bottle it's a little precarious. I could also see the elastic wearing out after a while, but that is just conjecture. Overall super happy with the bag so far. The material seems like good quality, but only time will tell how durable the bag is.

Nice little gym bag for the absolute minimalist. I'd imagine, anyone with OCD, may find theirselves thrilled to take on the challenge of seeing just how much they may be able to reasonably cram into this x-small gym bag. So long as you're super organized, very creative, and efficient as a packer, you just might be able to pull off a two day'er, out of this tiny bag, however, you had better be superb at things like, managing very limited useable space. Suits me just fine, especially the shoe compartment, as I care to utilize that for my shower sandals only, which shouldn't subtract too much from the over all space within the bag. It's Perfect!

Bigger than expected for a size x-small- easily fits my sneakers (W size 11), workout clothes, a swimsuit and towel. I like that it has a bunch of little pockets for things like my keys, hair ties, and locker lock. Easily fits in a half size locker. very happy with this purchase.

An excellent small duffle bag. I ordered one for the gym a few years ago (and it's still in use as my daily gym bag) and liked it so much I ordered 2 more. This is a well-constructed, good quality bag for the gym or as an overnight/weekend bag. Good value for the money. Zipper quality is good, never any issues with this bag.

I am a world traveler, coach and athlete and this by far is best non brand sports bag ever used. Descent size with multiple and useful pockets. Considering buying a second one as back up.

I wanted a small gym bag with a shoe compartment. The bag is right size but I dont love it...inside seems flimsy & thin, I am sure this will rip within a year... $25 seems like it should have been better ;( But it will do for this year..
