The instructions stating the brush is removable is misleading . Yes the brush can separated from the pull through, but the rope remains with the rope needed to use the pull through without the brush . I bought these wanting a pull through without a brush . These are useless to me unless I can figure out how to remove the brush totally .

I have the 22 cal and its a little tough using on a ruger 10/22 but still works. These are great on the range for keeping a clean bore while shooting or cleaning up after only a few shots while hunting. Personally I will never be without these on any gun that I own. They just work to nice.

Very nice and useful bore cleaner. I especially like that I can use the brush without the rope. I would like to see it able to use the rope alone also as there are times I would rather not use the brush. But overall high quality and useful.

Easy to use the weight that drops in the barrel makes it near flawless. Other brands I've used are a pain but I was able to test this and was extremely content with the results. Don't waste your money on spendy brands this will do the job

This bore snake, along with some good cleaner and oil, did a great job getting all of the gunk out of the barrel. It was super easy and quick to use. One pass through and it was cleaned and oiled. I did it a couple of times just to be sure, and since it was so easy. Cleaning doesn’t have to be a chore.

The two piece design won't work well with the small ejection port most semi-auto 22lr firearms. The long, solid threaded section is just too long. When pulling it through a 5.56 barrel the nylon cord snapped half. Bottom-line, spend a little more and get a better designed snake.

Bought this with the all in one cleaning kit. Add a little Grizzly CLP and it's good to go. Makes cleaning bores easier.
