There is a difference
If you're wondering do eclipse shades all act the same the answer is NO. These are truly the best ones to look at the sun, hands down. You get a beautiful clear orange sun that stands out like no other I've seen. I have used generic glasses and store bought Eclipser and none come close. You may get a yellow dot that is sometimes clear, sometimes not so much. So, does it matter? I guess if you don't mind less quality then no. Just saying I'm a fan and April 8th is gonna be amazing!

It works, comfortable to wear
I was excited to get these for the upcoming North American solar eclipse in April 2024. They were delivered just in time to try them out on a clear February afternoon before sunset. The sunglasses - and both extra paper versions- worked as advertised. I'm going to Mazatlan to enjoy the event on the beach. If there's any kids around in need, I'll gift them the paper glasses so they can also enjoy it without frying their eyes.

Legit Rainbow Symphony Glasses!
Be careful not to get fake glasses for viewing the eclipse! I received these and they are indeed legitimate Rainbow Symphony eclipse glasses, NOT a cheap knock-off. Tested them to be sure. Happy Eclipse watching everyone! :)

Great for blocking ambient light.
These are wrap around style shades. They fit very close to your face and permit very little ambient light from leaking in compared to cardboard shades. This makes the viewing experience much better. However, it also means they can't be used on top of prescription glasses. The arms do not fold which makes packing and storing a little tricky. Be sure not to break the arms. If they folded like regular sunglasses it would be much more convenient and worth another star.I use these to protect my eyes while setting up my camera. Works great. Not just for eclipses, but sunspots as well.

Works like a charm
I bought both varieties of this product just in case one did not fit properly. I am glad to report that both varieties fit an adult head surprisingly well. The product works as advertised and I was able to stare at the sun with them for as long as I cared without issue. An excellent product.

They work
I plan to use them to look at the Spring 2024 total eclipse. I tested these on the annular (partial in my location) eclipse this past month. They worked beautifully. A nice yellow-orange sun disc, neatly and clearly covered (partially in test case) by moon. I especially like that it comes with some cheaper ones that can be shared if we see anyone needing some. We look forward to using them in April 2024.

best wraparound coverage solar protection glasses for our 4 year old
We LOVE these glasses. We ordered these and several other styles many months in advance to try out different fits for our kids. These, with their "wraparound" style eclipse glasses are as close to 'fool proof' solar protection as you can get for a kid. And we are so glad we planned 6 mo (first purchase) and 3 month in advance to have them ready. Seems like folks who order in the last two weeks are having issues, which I assume are attributed to supply chain problems. Highly recommend

Seem like they'll work, but not comfortable and don't wrap around eyes well
They seem to be of decent quality, but my wife actually likes the paper ones better that came free with these. The plastic ones ordered are not comfortable and, most importantly, are too straight and too small so they don't wrap around the eyes. For the purposes of looking directly at the eclipse they should work but in my opinion there's moderate risk that you can stare at the sun around the periphery of the glasses plus they're just not very comfortable.

Not worth the money - pretty plain.
Came with a cloth case but waited some time for delivery as from USA. Pretty plain really and not worth the money in my opinion.
