[Upgraded] Penguin Trap Game, BRAiTOR Save The Penguin On Ice Blocks Puzzle Game, Activate Funny Family Party Mini Table Game for Kids

I got this game because I always liked Don't Break the Ice as kid. My 7 yr old son likes it a lot. At first he was frustrated with the effort it took to assemble it each time but got the hang of it after a couple of times. The game also helps to teach the nuances of being focused on tactical hitting of just one piece of ice.The two issues I have with it are: a) it came with no instructions and it's easy to guess but the icons and colors on the spinner implied there may be more meaning to the different color backgrounds than there really are. b) putting the spinners ON the board makes it more likely that a spin will accidentally move the entire board and knock the penguin over especially with excited kids.

I received this in the mail today and automatically took it out to play. The game is really fun (we are 22-25 years old) and very suspenseful. 2-4 people can play the game but there are only 2 pickaxes so we just teamed up and took turns spinning the wheel and knocking the ice out. I took 1 star off of the overall rating though because the box arrived looking very damaged. We couldn't even store the pieces in the box without stuff falling out so we had to throw the original one away and go buy a clear container to store all of our pieces in :(

Overall fun game. I think we need more games like this so that our kids do not need to play with video/mobile games that much. My 13 years old daughter also had fun playing this game with her friends. The game itself seems to be well made and I think it should last long. I took one star off because the box (not the shipping box, the *retail box*) does not look the same from the picture and it is just a generic white box and separate pictures and words tape on it. Looks pretty *home made*.

if u rather spend more time putting it together than actually playing with it - get it. its so time consuming. not worth it.... 20 min prep for 2 mins of destruction. not a good game at all!

A freind introduced me to this game..and i loved playing it then. So i bought it as xmas gift for a kid. he loves it.
