Las compré por sus ingredientes y por el balance nutrimental que ofrecen. Desde que abrí la bolsa les llamaron la atención y han estado comiéndose hasta la última croqueta desde entonces. Todavía tienen de las croquetas que tenían antes en otro platito, pero se terminan siempre éstas antes que las otras.

My cat was biting and licking her fur off. She has lost almost all the hair on her stomach, part of her side and hind legs (first 2 pics). She has always been with her 3 siblings (non-blood related but with 2 of the other cats for 6 years) with my friend (her previous owner). We (her vet and us) thought it was anxiety from the other cats but weren’t sure. I suggested I take her for a while so we could try things. For the first 3 months, no change and another friend recommended trying a grain free food. I was skeptical but tried it and sure enough, her fur began to grow back. She seems to really like it even though she can be picky. It’s been 11 months now and she has regrown almost all her missing hair (the last pic). She’s healthy and really likes the food. Her fur is incredibly soft as well. I’m very satisfied.

I was intrigued when Purina came out with their grain-free line of cat food since cats are obligate carnivores and do not need nor benefit from grain. I had already been feeding Purina ONE chicken formulas but I wasn't entirely satisfied with them. For one thing, I think it's safe to assume that Purina's chicken is sourced from China, and who knows what's in their chicken feed? China has severe pollution problems, not to mention a few unscrupulous manufacturers who deliberately spiked pet food ingredients and baby formula (baby formula?!!) with melamine in order to falsify protein levels. All the sources of melamine in pet food were grains. Another problem I was having with Purina ONE Tender Selects was that my cats were throwing up with monotonous frequency after a meal. My cats continue to be healthy and energetic and they like the food -- a little too much I'm afraid. However, even though they hoover it up like little furry piglets, they rarely throw up after eating anymore. And, at 324 kcal/cup, it has the lowest calorie count of any of the Purina dry formulas, even those advertised as "weight management" ones. Overall I'm pretty happy with this food, although for the price I think Purina should be able to guarantee that ALL their ingredients come from sources other than Asia, where the aforementioned problems originated.

Trying something healthier for my fur babies and they really like it

I've been feeding my cat this food for a long time. She loves the flavor and sticks her nose up at other kibble. I didn't realize this was the big bag and not the medium ones you get at petsmart. I came here when petsmart was out of stock and then boom, huge bag on the porch. I didn't mind it, I subscribed to this product so I never have to go to petsmart for the little bags again.
