It leaks!
We’ve had this feeder for 13 months. Although it is made of hand blown glass, the bottom half of the feeder portion is plastic and is sealed with a rubber-like seal that fits over its edge. When you screw the plastic half down onto the metal half of the feeder, that seal is supposed to keep the food from leaking out when you flip it over and hang it.Unfortunately, the plastic fits too loosely over the screw portion of the glass, so if you tighten it too tight, it will simply jump the threads. It was ok for a while, but I think the rubber seal got a bit stiff over time - stiff enough so that I could no longer screw it down enough to completely seal the feeder, so it started dripping. As a result, we can no longer use this beautiful and quite-expensive feeder.

Best hummingbird feeder yet
First off, its a very nice looking feeder made of more expensive materials and you can tell at some distance.Secondly, its very solid. I love the "feel" of this feeder - thick glass, metal feeder. I added a chain to hang it with rather than using the included twine. The feeder holds a lot of nectar - I am unsure if this is a good thing or bad thing for my case but better too big than too small. I don't get many hummingbirds so I will likely not fill this to capacity, but those with swarms of hummingbirds may like the large capacity.Cleaning is easy as the feeder bowl comes apart - but getting the bowl back together can be annoying - the gasket kept moving make this operation a pain. The fact you can get into everything allows better cleaning.I got this set up too late for much activity. It attracted a few birds while they were still in migration but migration was almost over. I am looking forward to next spring when I can see how well this feeder attracts. The feeder it replaced just wasn't very popular with the birds. I may plant some attractive hummingbird flowers about area as well.

Beautiful
I really like this feeder, however, I have 2 feeders hanging close by each other and the bees just love this one and never bother the other. The other is clear, is this why, because this one is red?

Packed in Crumbly Styrofoam
This was very difficult to open. It was packed in wedges of styrofoam that broke in to little balls and flew around. It took forever to get the balls off the feeder and then off my hands, clothes, floor and cupboards. It was awful. I don't think it is entirely straight where the container meets the metal of the feeder. The orange rubber gasket is so loose it its hard to keep it in place while attaching the bottle to the metal. Last but not least, the hanger loop at the top can't rest on a surface, which makes it a bit hard to fill the container while holding the large bottle in one hand. I think overall it is not worth the money. If the glass is really handblown, it isn't impressive. Worst of all was that horrible styrofoam. This is 2021, folks, there are better packing materials out there.

Just the perfect size! Love this feeder.
The measurements described are accurate, but it just seemed a little smaller than I expected. But, in MY case, that was perfect because I wanted to use the dome as a sun protection which made it hang a little lower. So I am extremely happy with choice. (I just now noticed when I was downloading this photo, there is a little hummingbird sitting on the top right side of the stand. ha!) The glass doesn't have 'cheap' feel to it because it's a little heavier duty than some. And I like the rubber rim on the edge of the bottom piece, so it's less likely to seep out. 100% satisfied.

size discrepancy
I love this product except for one detail: it advertises a 28-ounce capacity but is only 16-18 ounce.

I like it
they actually give you a wire brush to clean it with and multiple ways to hang it. they give you a hook and rope. I dont like the foam its packed in I hate foam its bad for the environment but aside that its a good product.

Love this!
I love that the glass is blown glass in the color red. That way I don't have to use dye in my feeder to color the water. Also since it is blown glass, the red color will not chip like other types of red feeders. The feeder portion at the bottom is made of plastic, so I don't know yet how that will hold up from season to season-wish it were metal instead. However, I think this feeder is awesome and I plan to buy another one soon. It is also beautiful to look at with very unique blown glass shapes.
