When I walked off the stage after The Michael Stanley Band's last show in January of '87 I was relatively resigned to the fact that a musical journey that had started twenty-two years before was probably coming to an end... and for six months it did. But making music is a powerful drug; one that, despite the travails of the profession, can help keep you sane or maybe just a little bit less insane But anyway you look at it, it's still a hell of a lot cheaper than therapy! And so, with a moveable musical line-up that was called Michael Stanley & Friends (which would soon morph into The Resonators), I started doing a few shows each year...and that fed the other addiction...writing songs... and it was a second act that I had never envisioned but one that I am eternally grateful for because it led to the twelve albums from which these songs were pulled. I have been blessed to be able to continue to make music with people I love and respect and they always, always make the tunes better. And to rekindle a working relationship with my dear friend and mentor Bill Szymczyk was just the perfect icing on the cake. And once again I would just like to thank all of you who have been on this musical journey with us and for allowing me to venture down some new musical roads; your support is truly appreciated and it certainly wouldn't have been the same without you! - Peace. The Best of the Best from the Best Rock-N-Roll Artist You Never Heard Of!
The Talented Mr. Stanley has compiled several of his best songs from his post MSB career. Some of his best songwriting and music can be found on this collection.If you have never heard of Michael I would advise you to buy this collection along with the best of MSB collections. They will make you wonder, like all MSB fans, how could these guys never 'make it' big?If you are a long time fan of MSB from back in the day, do yourself a favor and buy this collection and see what Mr. Stanley has been up to for the last few decades, you will love it!

Yes, I will be happy to write a review. Wow. This mans music is so amazing. He had an incredible career back in his 70s and 80s years none of which this is culled from. He put together a second half to his career that is (hard to believe) better than the first. If you never caught up with Michael Stanley before and love the best classic rock sound of the 70s you must purchase now. Seger and Mellencamp fans you'll love it. Pure rock and roll enjoyment.

The Best kept Musical Secret in the United States. Time to break down the Walls and let this man's music take you to all the places you never knew existed. C'mon America, Here's a great place to start. But be warned, after getting this collection. I bought his ENTIRE catalog.

Awesome---worth your attention and money.
A great Michael Stanley 3 disc collection-- Michael Stanley must have for his fans. I've loved his music since the 70's and that love continues with his newer creations. The first disc contains rocking beats, the second more towards ballads, and the third disc a mix. All wonderful music.

Simply one of his best
For those that are not familiar with Michael Stanley, this release is as good as any for a place to start. Michael Stanley's songwriting, coupled with the production of this CD puts it right near the top only rivaling my personal favorite by him "Ghost Poets"For all Michael Stanley fans this is a must have, I highly recommend it to all.

Awesome collection of Michael's solo stuff. Love it. Don't hesitate, just buy it. I swear, this guy gets better with age. I related to his music 35 years ago, and still relate to what he's writing now!

This Clevelander Rocks!
Top-notch compilation of Michael Stanley's second career phase. Brings together tracks from about a dozen albums over the last 20 years. A Cleveland rock and roller, who never got the recognition and fame he rightly deserves. Never discovered if he writes the words or the lyrics first.

A Bit of This & That
A nice introduction to Michael Stanley's solo work, though the Amazon title description should read "Solo Years 1995 - 2014" - the standout disc for me is is disc 2, my fave song being "Any Time I Try" - great that Michael Stanley has carried on post-MSB. Short of buying all the albums individually, a lovely start.
