Nice tongs. The feet which keep the end of the tongs off the counter is a plus. The shorter tongs are a bit unwieldy to use, but that's a function of the length of the tongs, not the construction.My only objection about the tongs is the locking mechanism. I already had another pair of tongs before I bought these. The locking mechanism on my first pair is loose, which sounds bad, but actually isn't. On those tongs, when holding them facing down, you squeeze the tongs and they unlock. Hold them facing up, squeeze them, and they lock. It's a one-handed operation! On the new tongs, the locking mechanism sticks, so you have to use two hands to lock and unlock them. Kind of a bummer, since I really like the one-handed operation of my first pair.The grip and basting brush that comes with it are junk. I would not use that grip to remove ANYTHING from an oven. It just isn't thick enough. The basting brush is flimsy. I have an inexpensive one that is far superior. Both these items went into the Goodwill box.

I was pleased to receive these but was disappointed that the large tong lock (to keep it closed) stopped working almost immediately. I wanted them to lock closed for storage purposes. The handy silicone mitt is nice and small, and the spoon doesn't scratch.

Good product but expected the brush and mitt in photos. 1 photo is only of the mitt. Still a nice product but suggest photos be corrected.

I read the reviews on many sets similar to this and took a chance on this one. It did not disappoint! Great product. I really like the way the tongs are held closed for storage verses the loop of metal on past tongs that I have owned. The "built in" stand that keeps utensil raised in a sitting position. Great product for the price. Very satisfied.

i like the tongs, but the brush kinda stinks, and the you can feel the heat through the handle.

Received today and used at dinner. They are awesome. I love the fact that they have two rests that keep the tongs off the counter. They also have a pull tab to lock them close so they don't take up much room in the drawer.

Very nice quality. Color and design make them look even better. Handle is easy to use and it also comes with the locking knob that really helps for storing. The product comes with a silicone brush, which could be useful for pastry.
