Great book. You can skip the woo woo stuff and still learn a lot.
I like the recipes and Iโm glad I got the book. However I choose the skip the woo woo stuff. Iโm not Christian but personally I think a lot of that stuff is BS and culty. Just do the recipes that appeal to you. Sometimes itโs just simply taking the time that you take for yourself that helps. Also thereโs a lot of random ingredients. Donโt be afraid to replace those ingredients or skip it. Personally the reason I make my own stuff is to save money I like to use what I already have . It feels like itโs geared towards people that have tons of money and privilege. Iโm not buying raw milk sorry. I still got a lot out of the book though. Also be careful with essential oils. Unless diluted they can be really irritating and even dangerous. Do some light research on the ingredients before you attempt any of the recipes.

Such an inspiring, beautiful book
I bought the hardcover and I am blown away by the beauty of the pages. Shiva includes photography for all of her recipes and makes you feel as if you're part of her world. She speaks with such a humble spirit while also not holding her tongue - presenting information in a personable, yet accessible way.I was initially skeptical about what would be discussed since part of the title is "daily rituals," but after reading this book I realize she is initiating you into a lifestyle and an intuitive way of thinking and living. These are quick tricks or anything like a spellbook, but rather a way to align yourself with Mother Nature and create beauty in your daily routine that will shine outwards in outer beauty as well.Thank you Shiva for sharing this knowledge to the world!

Exquisite Book for Inner & Outer Beauty๐ท
This is an exquisite and refreshingly insightful hardcover book by Shiva Rose. Reading about her honest personal account of hitting rock bottom reminds me of my own story of struggle, and how it was imperative to not just survive; I needed to thrive, and Shiva's powerful words really ring true for me. I commend her for putting herself out there the way she does in this book; she's offering so many people hope as a result. Her serene photos, natural recipes, self-care rituals and genuine words of sage advice are all useful for anyone seeking inner and outer beauty and balance.Shiva explains the beliefs of Kundalini, a physical and spiritual practice, and Ayurveda, which is an incredible, preventative Indian healing modality. Ayurveda is one of the reasons I've begun to genuinely heal from my chronic illness. Shiva talks about the significance of flowers, herbs, crystals, essential oils, candles, incense, goddesses, chakras, and SO much more!Learn how to make your own plant-based insect repellent, toothpaste, dishwashing liquid, spray cleaner, perfumes, hydrosols, toners, tonics, herbal tea blends, "cacao maca cloud smoothie" and other chemical-free homemade beauty/cleaning products and herbal remedies/drinks. Many of the recipes are basic for beginners, but there are still a lot of fantastic pieces of information and wonderful recipes here for anyone and everyone. This is a lovely book that encourages you to be the healthiest, strongest version of you, no matter where you may be mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. It's so important to take time to nourish and love yourself, in a natural way, and Whole Beauty goes into detail on how to accomplish those vital life goals. I absolutely cherish this book and I think you'll love it as much as I do!

New age and Hinduism (crystals, Making your own "altar" , and prayers, etc.
I wish I had known that it would have a lot of "spirituality" in it, as I am not really interested being from a different religion. It has mantras from Hinduism and "prayers" that I find silly. But I do really like the masks and the pictures are lovely. Overall, I enjoy it but

This book is AMAZING!!
THIS BOOK is just beautiful. COVER TO COVER you will be pulled in to the beauty of each page with sharings of recommendations of how to care for yourself head to toe. I loved turning each page that had a product photo, a how to or the simple beauty of a flower. I found this book to be insightful, very caring in sharing delightful ingredients to add to your daily rituals. My most favorite was the peaceful calm this book gave me especially during these difficult times in our world. I will order this book for all my favorite people in my life as I feel this is a gem they too will treasure and use as a daily resource to rejuvenate, and cherish their mind, body and soul. Thank you Shiva for sharing your wisdom and beauty you see in the world. This book is a MUST have.

Beautiful book.
This is a beautiful, well thought out book. It's educational, offers a lot of info on mind/body rituals and products. I bought it for myself and also as a gift for a friend starting midlife. It's a reminder to find calm, practice self care and know that beauty is not just from a cosmetic bottle. Loved it. My friend did as well.

Great Read
I absolutely love this book. There's a section or two that are a bit too new agey for my taste but guess what, I can skip those sections. I especially enjoy the recipes for skin and hair care. Shiva Rose has a understanding and informative way of writing that day want come off as "all knowing" and this book is a fantastic place to start.

Treasure chest
I received the book today, and flipped randomly through its gorgeous pages before jumping right in. Though only 40 pages into the book, I'm already moved and inspired by Shiva's thoughtful and heartfelt words, as well as the beauty of the book itself. This work is a treasure trove covering many topics to help shift your life from a rat race to one of meaningful, soul-centered ritual. The segments are broken down into subtopics, and very easy to digest. I believe if you only adapted a few of her suggestions, the results would have a big impact on your body, mind and spirit. Highly recommended!

The best book for the beginner
The media could not be loaded. ย I have interested in Ayrveda and natural healing techniques for ages. I bought a couple of iBooks and then I decided to buy a normal paperback book, since this is what I prefer. The book is really well written, is very well structured, the contents is easy to understand and to follow. Those ingredients are sold in ( special) stores, and one can really buy those. I started reading and I am delighted.

Visually a beautiful book with an honest and passionate style of writing
Visually a beautiful book with an honest and passionate style of writing. Lots of interesting recipes but be prepared that most of the ingredients mentioned aren't common types so most likely you will need to do a bit of a search online to find them. This book not only gives you practical advice on natural homemade teas, cleaning products, and beauty products but also helps to get closer to your inner self and look at life and beauty with a different, feels good eye and heart.
