Be sure to bend the branches correctly or it will look ridiculous. overall- very nice subtle light when the regular room lights are off.

Beautiful as a piece of art and a great night light

Look, as a college freshman, I've bought a lot of dumb things of Amazon to decorate my dorm room. Blacklights, lamps that have jellyfish swimming in them, disco balls, you name it. However this is the worst purchase I have ever made in my life. Its a shame too, I was really hyped to get this! For starters, there was no cushioning in the box. Horrible idea. Second, half of the product was missing. The box did not include a base, adapter, or screws. At this point, I've already emailed the company and complained. Then, I read the instructions for setting it up and I that's when I could not believe what I was reading. Under the warnings list, the last warning said "If the cable is damaged the entire product must be destroyed." Is that a joke! That is honestly horrifying. Why do I need to destroy it? What does that even mean? Absolutely do not buy this!

I would not recommend this tree. While it had 'potential', I returned it. First off, it came very poorly packaged in only the manufacturers very thin white box. No padding(styrofoam or anything), so the heavier metal pieces including the long trunk is loose and bouncing around through shipment, which is probably why the mailer box was punctured and ripped upon delivery, and the top was completely torn off. Secondly, the brown tape that adheres all the lights and the branch pieces, that is wound throughout the tree, was loose in many places. As I attempted to bend out the branches, the tape would become so loose that the branch would now not even hold itself up. Thirdly, the tree had an awful chemical smell of cheap pvc plastic (the leaves are a soft bendable plastic) that was ultimately intolerable (I had this tree indoors) and probably unhealthy. Finally, while the tree had potential to look nice, if you wanted to place it near a window so it could be seen from the outside, the lights (from the outside) all actually looked more white than green. The lights are in fact white, but its the LEAVES that are green so the tree looks better(green) when/if your viewing it inside.

Worked for one week then it's started shorting out and then one section of the lights stopped working all together.
