As a shopper on Amazon, I've recently come across the Hiksuky water circulation pump, and I must say, this pump left quite an impression on me. One thing that really stands out is that it's not a self-priming pump. It operates as a circulation pump, so it cannot draw water up on its own and requires the water level to be above its intake port to function properly. However, this feature doesn't diminish its utility or performance in any way.In fact, this pump has an great lifespan that's more than ten times longer than that of self-priming pumps. Knowing that it can last so long without frequent replacement or repairs gives me great peace of mind. In addition, it operates quietly, which is a huge bonus for me as I prefer a peaceful environment, especially when enjoying hot water.All in all, despite not being a self-priming pump, this product offers exceptional performance and durability. I'm thoroughly impressed and confident that it will enhance my daily life with its reliability and efficiency.

Good pump, bad power supply.I bought two of these this year, both have failed in the same way. The power supplies burn out within a month. Be prepared to source your own power supply.

The media could not be loaded. I was searching for a water pump for a pool fountain I purchased, and my experience was insightful, especially after trying to find the right pump for a tankless water heater. Many pumps I came across were either inadequate or too loud. Quiet operation was a key factor for me, and I am amazed that this pump delivers as much pressure as more expensive, louder, and larger pumps. Moreover, I decided to use DC power at the pool for safety reasons, and this pump fits perfectly with my plan to power the pool with solar energy.**Cons:** There aren't many cons, but I do wish the pump were a bit more powerful for larger applications. To address this, I ordered a second pump, as my fountain has two inlets. Using two pumps is still cheaper than a larger water transfer pump, and they are both quiet. Additionally, I appreciate the flexibility that this pump can be used submerged or non-submerged, which adds to its versatility.

Using it to circulate water for a chicken coop and run. So far so good. Will see how it holds up in the long term.

Not very strong, low gpm

Bought a while back but just now getting to use it so I cannot say how long it will last. But so far so good. Super easy to install. Using pump for a chicken waterer system. 55 gallon barrel filled by rain water. Two washer hoses hooked to 5’ 2” PVC pipe with chicken nipples. Pump keeps the water recirculating. For winter I’ll drop a heater in the barrel, with use of the pump this should keep the water from freezing up.Update: June 13th 2025 checked on pump. Wasn’t working. Felt warm to the touch. So in a nutshell pump lasted 3 months during spring and summer temperatures. I am however going to purchase it one more time so I don’t have to get into changing fittings and whatnot. If it goes out I will update again.Update : June 19th 2025 replacement pump arrived. Found out when testing it on the bench the pump was indeed ok. The power adapter that plugs in was bad. So ima keep the second pump I bought on the shelf and just use the new adapter.

The media could not be loaded. I love the power! I tested it in a bowl of water, and it emptied it in no time. The pump is efficient, quiet, and easy to set up, making it super convenient to use.
