Love the content, but the book is FALLING APART on DAY ONE!!!
I love the content Craig Oldham writes. It has a nice honesty and wit to it that you don't usually see in "professional" guides. However, when I had been reading the book (which is a kind of cardboard) for about 15 minutes, two pages were after falling out. My book is literally FALLING APART!!The manner in which the product itself is bound, I have a feeling that by time I reach Chapter 3 or 4, I'll be picking more pages up off the floor.Love the book Craig Oldham, but having it falling to pieces as I read it is frustrating and disappointing.

BINDING

A great read for designers old and new
Funny and true. I’m not new to graphics but it didn’t hurt to be reminded of a few truths about navigating the profession. It goes without saying that it’s a beautiful thing to look at too. It’s holding it’s own next to Princess Margaret on my coffee table.

Great Content, Terrible Binding...
The content of this book is great. The design aesthetics are killer. The binding, however, sucks. A bunch of pages literally fell out of the book as soon as I opened it for the first time. After that, I had to go through and manually finesse every single page to ensure more didn't fall out.

Terrible Binding
The hardback binding is 'S**t'. I've worked in print for years and how this got signed off I do not know. The image attached is my friend opening the book once, literally once and 4 pages just fell out.Going to order the paper back from Waterstones. Craig mate....get a grip and sort it out.

Fantastic content, physical design is awful.
I've never (tried) to read a book that's so physically difficult to read in all my life. The content is brilliant, if you can manage to pry open the pages long enough to read it, and if you can catch the pages before they fall out.I feel like the construction of this book was an afterthought at best, and if I was the author I would be absolutely furious!Physical construction aside, it's an amazing book.
