Bought these to replace the long-dead batteries in my 2006 Pignose Hog-30 guitar amp. The batteries came fully charged and dropped right in (once I got the back panel off the amp! See below). I’ll keep an eye on how long they hold a charge, but so far so good. The amp is running fine.If you’re a Hog-30 owner you may discover that the rear panel is quite difficult to remove in order to replace the batteries. In my case the panel was a bear to get off because the vinyl covering was sticky (due to age?) and vinyl touches vinyl all around the panel when it’s installed.Once I did get the panel off, I did a couple of things which should make future panel removal easier:- Put a generous coat of paste wax (I used Renaissance Wax) on the edges of the panel (whererever vinyl touches vinyl), and- Installed a cabinet knob (had one lying around) on the bottom side of the panel, to give me a handle to pull on when removing the panel.Hope these tips are helpful.
