I purchased to cook a deep fried turkey for Xmas, I have one I use in Australia and it’s awesome, so felt no need to check before the big day, upon opening the box Xmas eve I discovered that the connection needed an adapter to fit UK gas bottles, amazon should be aware of this and sell the adapter with the whole kit, so unfortunately I couldn’t get the adapter in time, so, disappointed I couldn’t do the deep fried turkey for my family.

My brother has been deep frying turkeys for years, his neighbors even ask him to cook turkeys for them. Well This was my first time deep frying a turkey. We had a lot of people over for thanksgiving, and I got a lot of compliments of people saying they don't like turkey, but loved the deep fried turkey. But then again anything is better deep fried. I also bought 20lb of chicken wings, I just haven't done it yet. I really like this particular fryer as it comes with everything to need for more than just turkeys. To be honest I am not a big fan of turkey but deep fried has changed my mind. I highly recommend brining the turkey (or whatever) for 12 to 24 hour. when putting the turkey in turn off the burner and add the turkey slowly. Oh, and don't throw the oil away, it can be used many times. I wish I had gotten one of these sooner.
