I initially had a large rant against this bike but it was too long so I've decided to shorten it. The bike is robustly manufactured. Cabling is well hidden through the frame. Brakes are awful for such a heavy bike but this is normal for this price range. The brakes are on the wrong side for the UK but easily changed over although some people would like the brakes to be as of UK regs. So far so good. However the electrical side is flawed. There's no indication on the motor housing of the power. Again under UK regs there should be. You cannot pedal this bike less than 9mph. The pedal assist only starts the motor turning. It doesn't actually assist. It just switches it on to full pelt depending what PAS level you are on. According to Hitway and the seller this is normal and the same on all bikes. I beg to differ. I have two other bikes and this does not happen. The speed display stops at 9, 12 and 15.5 mph depending on what PAS level you are on. This is deliberate and the explanation from HITWAY is laughable, There has been many messages back and forward but no resolution. The seller offered no technical support. The diatribe was on how their bikes confirm to UK law. They did send a text with the default P1-p20 settings and even this had an error. Namely P2 which was set to 1 because we use mph in this country. Because the help is in China do not expect rapid replies. The response from Hitway was their bike is operating normally after watching two videos I sent. It isn't. The videos clearly show the bike speed being too fast for the level of crank turn. Hitway insist that this is how the bike performs. If so then the bike isn’t fit for purpose as it is impossible to peddle less than 9mph. It’s also interesting that Hitway or the seller do not like my review. They say it is false. It isn’t. I have explained exactly how the bike performs. They wish me to remove it and if so they will send a throttle. That in my book is bribery. I refused as I have more integrity. Maybe this is how they do business in China? I did take the bike to a local bike shop who did confirm the bike isn't operating as it should and said because its a Chinese built bike they can't fix it but they did say if a new controller was fitted that may solve the problem the but I'd have to source that myself. So in a nutshell, buyer beware. If the bike you buy works, fair enough. But if you get a lemon like I did, then do not expect any decent technical help. You won't get it. (I'll also add HITWAY replies are very slow)

Bonjour, je suis trop contente de mon achat, je l’ai acheté pour ma maman qui s’est blessé récemment au genou. Elle n’a pas le droit de forcer donc un vélo électrique est l’idéal. Il est de très bonne qualité et on peut mettre un très grand sac à l’arrière du vélo. La batterie est amovible avec sécurité par clé. Elle fait facilement 20 km par jour et le recharge qu’au bout de 3 jours. Je le recommande vraiment, je pense même m’en acheter un pour moi

Los frenos son mecánicos y no hidráulicos y no se especifica esto en la descripción del equipo. El porta bultos es muy pesado como para una motocicleta de 125cc o más. Por los demás todo bien.

Die Lieferung erfolgte in der angegebenen Zeit. Leider war die Vordere Bremsscheibe verbogen, was dem Transport zu Verschulden ist, obwohl die Verpackung selbst sehr gut ist. Der Mangel wurde durch Lieferung einer neuen Bremsscheibe anstandslos behoben. Das Fahrrad selbst,, KLASSE.
