Rose Geranium felted soap rating
The felt stunk and did not want to lather up! I cut the felt off and just used the soap which smelt OK but not great. Soap did not last that long for the amount of $$ I paid.

For the price that I paid, I could have purchased a loofah and a bar of soap which would have lathered a bit better than this product….don't waste your money.

Beautiful, but not very functional. Its too bad
I so wanted to love this soap. I thought they were beautifully made so I purchased one for myself and one to give as a gift. The price is high for a bar of soap, but the felting adds so much and with the presentation I thought perhaps it was worth it. Not so. For beauty and workmanship this merits four starts. For soapability it merits less than a star. I am probably being generous by giving it two stars but I guess that is a not to the creativity of the felt.Try as I might, I cannot get this to lather. It has been two months and it remains hard as a rock with no lathering ability whatsoever. I use it like a sponge by rubbing other soap on it but even with that it is fairly anemic. It doesn't really pick up the other soap all that well. I guess I am just trying everything because I had such high hopes. I have to face up to the fact that in this case beauty is truly only skin deep.BOTTOM LINE: Doesn't work well as a soap or an exfoliating tool. I just can't recommend it. I am going to keep looking until I find a felted soap that lives up to the hype

My new favorite!
I bought this soap after my mother recommended it to me. I absolutely love it! Smells amazing and leaves my skin smooth and soft. Before you can use it, you do need to soak it in warm water overnight to give the wool a chance to shrink around the soap inside. I imagine skipping this step is what led to the lathering problems everyone is talking about, as I have never had an issue getting the soap to lather.
