Wave Nouveau Moisturizer Finishing Lotion 33.8 oz

I am multiracial African-American with 3B / 3C naturally curly hair. For years and years I've tried various products for my hair. Most of them shrink your curls and leave them crunchy or they make your hair greasy. Off and on over the years I have returned to this product because it softens and elongates my curls without making them crunchy and provides just the right amount of moisture that my porous hair thrives on without making it greasy. The reason why I've tried so many other products off and on over the years is because sometimes, especially when I streak my hair for the summer, my hair can be quite dry and too much of this product will make your hair sticky so you can't just use more of it to alleviate dryness. If you did, you would end up like the characters with the drippy Jheri curls on "Coming To America" that left the greasy looking stains on the couch. Who wants that! There are also times when I will texturize my hair if I want even looser curls and any kind of chemical treatment can make your hair bone dry no matter how much you condition. I've been needing something that adds moisture and keeps my hair moisturized without making it sticky or greasy. But then I found the perfect solution. I went on a website called blackdoctors.org and I saw an article about the best hair oils for black hair. They mentioned castor oil and almond oil. So, I now have the perfect product by simply mixing a few drops of castor oil and almond oil into a small amount of this finishing lotion and rubbing it into my hair. It's absolutely perfect after I wash my hair and in between washes for the times when my hair is needs more moisture. It doesn't leave a greasy or sticky feeling. Love it!

A friend of mine from church recommended this product to me after seeing and feeling how dry my hair was. I am biracial Mexican American and African American. Finding the right product has always been a challenge. It seems that I have 3-4 different hair textures combined on my head. Frizz and dryness have been an issue all my life. I wanted something that smelled good, provided definition, and moisture without taking my natural volume. I have been using this product now for 2 months and I am enjoying it very much. I no longer have to wet my hair everyday to get definition. I simply piece my hair in 4 sections and apply the product throughly to each section. I sleep with a scarf or bonnet at night and I reapply the product in the morning minimally to to the areas that need touch up. The product smell is clean and soft and the price for the size of product is reasonable; I’m headed into my 3rd month of using this product and I am barely half way through the bottle. I love this product and will continue to use it.

So I recently purchased this product after getting the wave Nouveau hair texturizer. I've never used this project on my bare bones natural hair. However, my Crown line is still natural but very soft like baby hair. This product makes it lay flat on my head. Not only that, but my texturized hair is the MOST moisturized I have ever had on texturized hair. This product makes my hair feel so moisturized!!!! It's like velvet!I don't even need to put any of it the day after or the day after that. When I spray water in my hair with a little glycerin, it revitalizes the softest of my hair. It's not even that I needed to because I woke up with my hair still very soft. My Curls are luscious, bouncy and full. Using this with the wave Nouveau texturizer has worked wonders. I have low porosity, 4A/4B/3C fine and medium density hair. It has been hell and high water trying to find a good moisturizer for my hair, which gets very thirsty. This product has worked wonders. I also deep condition with Organics Africa's Best Organic Hair Mayonnaise.I think you can make the product work for you very well if you deep condition your hair (provided you have very coily hair) every week, and apply this to damp hair. Everybody's hair is different but my hair is VERY picky and feisty. I hope they don't change the ingredients in this product as I did like the shea moisture leave in conditioner, which then made my hair very angry when they changed the ingredients. A year later I have found something FINALLY that my hair is happy with and I hope it is here to stay.I cannot urge you enough to buy!- Not sponsored

Like the larger size and can use to refill bottle. Loved the product because of the way my hair responds to the product. Soft and curly. Nicel light smell and great value for the money.
