I was tentative, but decided to buy. Goes on smooth and self levels so every application is perfect by the time you cure! Be sure to cure 2-3x otherwise won’t be as hard or resistant. I like it because it helps keep my edges down and the shine and durability increases! Get so many compliments on my nails and they last almost 2 weeks (I work at an office and have moderate lifestyle). So great for the price!Is it absolutely necessary, no.. but does add a nice finish that lasts longer. I can imagine if there was a glossy or glazed donut nail this would keep the glaze on from normal daily wear.

Get this asap! I was a little hesitant because of the price, but I’m so glad I pulled the trigger. Not only does it add a little extra shine to your gel strips, but no hair snagging!! I applied to a set that was a week old and starting to snag and it just smoothed the base and sides out almost like a fill. I wish I bought this sooner because as soon as my strip start to snag, I can only take so much and pull them off.

I’ve been using gel and semi-cured gel strips for over 15 years and I love the Ohora products. This is the worst UV topcoat that I’ve ever used. Very thick, lumpy and streaky, just terrible. Based on the reviews, I thought it would be great. Maybe I got a bad bottle? But after a few manis, I tossed the bottle, since it could not be returned…I generally don’t give bad reviews, but this topcoat is horrible, save your money!

I don't usually write reviews, but I bought this glossy top coat to go over my semi-cured gel nail strips. Once you start using the strips, you'll notice that many of them will lose the shiny finish from the top after you use your finger to press and smooth them on your nails. I can't imagine not using a top coat over them because the shine is just gone. When you use this top coat, it makes the nail strips look amazing. I would not use the strips without this top coat, so it is pricey, but it's worth it. It'll make your nails look 100% better. The only downside I've noticed is that it is thick, and in order to try to get an even coat, sometimes I do get some streaking on my nails. But besides that, it's great, and I'll continue to use it and buy it again.

I use O’Hara nails all the time and I finally purchased the top gel, and it makes a huge difference! I have people asking me which salon I go to and when I tell them I do them myself they are shocked!

I feel that this product made my nails more brittle. They are chipping on the ends a lot more than ever before. It was slightly concerning to me and then I remembered I used this product for the first time. The snagging on my hair is a little bit less. But I would rather change my UV gel polish that half my nails chipping away.

I use this with semi-cured gel nails. It really helps them adhere to my nails much better.
