I was having a hard time picking between this and garden plastic for my garden...so I wouldn't have to weed this summer. After doing some research, this is better for the ground so the soil can breathe. Because of this, it may not warm up the soil quite as much as the plastic, but it also doesn't harbor as many snakes since this kind has a lower moisture level than plastic. I had a concern about how long it would hold up too. With plastic, it rips easily when it breaks down, but because this is a woven material, I know I'll have this for years to come..which is great. It's worth the money :)

So far so good, no weeds coming through. Well made. I have only had it down for about 1 month.

This weed barrier fabric is heavier then the one I previously used. It did not fray for me while cutting it and was easy to lay in my flower beds. We applied about 2" of mulch over it, and fingers are crossed it prevents the weeds & grass from growing.

Great value, much more expensive at Home Depot. Placed a second order and opted for thicker weight but just as satisfied with the thinner size. Fast shipping. Gloves were an added bonus.

I was getting so frustrated by the typical paper landscaping cover. Weeds were getting through. So far this has worked well. I didn't anchor them down but I also have gravel rock on top which has prevented them from moving
