Does exactly what it was designed to do.
I hate camera bags - so I bought this to add a bit of protection when I realized my camera was taking a bit of damage bouncing around on my shoulder all day. It does that perfectly. There are some cons that people have pointed out:Yes, you can still break your camera while you have it on. Shocker.Yes, it might get a little dirty (likes to attract pet hair sometimes). And yes, if you don't put it on right, it might cause the flash to not pop up correctly. But, in my opinion, those are all more a function of user error than the product's fault. It should come with a little disclaimer...This will not make your camera invulnerable - this is made out of rubber, not a miracle substance you have not heard of. You should still keep your camera away from dirt and moisture - this product does not make your camera water proof. You should read the instructions on how to install this correctly. For what you're paying, you're getting a little extra protection - particularly around the lens so if it happens to bump against that chair or person or whatever else it seems to hit when on my shoulder, it has a little give (the lens part is very bouncy and has a lot of give, which i've noticed has reduced the shock on my poor lens when I seem to hit everything in the planet while walking around).Contrary to other reviews, it works perfectly with the flash. When I first put it on I didn't put it on right so the flash only went half way up - then I realized i was a moron and realized I put it on wrong (the little rubber slot slides into the flash hole - not rests on top of it) and now everything works perfectly.A neat little trick is that the lens cover piece can roll back so you can easily put the lens cover on, or get it out of the way while taking a shot. The rubber is that flexible - and it really makes things a lot easier.Another note is that it really doesn't add much bulk to your camera at all. I have the (extremely tight fitting) Zing large zoom case (with my 28-135mm) and I can still jam it in there. I'm not saying it's a piece of cake to get in, but it does fit - and that's all that matters for me because, as previously mentioned, I hate camera bags.By the way, I just got Canon's 580EX II flash and it was awesome to see this product was designed to work perfectly with the external flash. It takes about .05 seconds to put the flash on and leave the rest of the camera protected. The 580EX even has the soft rubber on the sides so it matches the Made rubber quite nicely.Anyway, if you have realistic expectations about what this little tiny investment is for your camera, you'll be happy.Enjoy!

Not the 'best thing', but it serves its purpose
Will this protect your Canon 30d? Yeah, it will. Is it the best product I've ever owned? No. I think that if The makers of this product made the product a little more 'serious', i would have liked it more. I thought that the LCD protection would have been glass, so i was shocked to find out that it was cheap, flimsy plastic- and it had a scratch on it. Also, it is not attached to the screen with an adhesive, it just sits there hanging on the rubber housing. So if you were wanting good LCD protection, you should go with an additional product. Also, when you are using this product, you are not able to mount the camera on a tripod, which is important to some people (like me). Another thing i thought i should mention is that This product is a hard to remove and put on. You couldn't do this in the middle of a shoot, or something like that. The rubber is also a dust magnet, and the dust doesn't come off easily at all! A blower can't even remove some of the dust. Will it protect your camera from a drop? Probably, and that's what's important. It's just not the most practical product. It's an alright product.

Good product good protection
Did not use the lens protection as it takes up too much room but the camera was well protected in my backpack and provided some protection from light rain and bumps. It was a little hard to put on and take off but I think it has to be that way. Make sure your optical correction is adjusted properly as you have to take the armour off to adjust it. Camera strap is also difficult to put on and take off with the armour in place.

Camera Armour
A bit hard to use the camera after, but it does work, and it is a lot cheaper than replacing or repairing a dropped camera

a little extra protection
adds a little bulk to the camera but it's worth it. adds a very simple layer of protection. is a little prone to collecting lint but it's acceptable.

Great protection!
Camera Armor rocks! Despite reviews that I read saying that the armor collects too much dust, I decided to try it out anyway. I am so glad that I did. Yea, it picks up some unwanted dust and lint, but not to the extreme that people claimed. I would recommed that the company make it with a better, more tack-free surface, but it is well worth having the body protection that it offers. The pop-up flash is completely operable with the armor on. Those that stated otherwise must have not had it attached properly or maybe had a bad one. It does make the camera more bulky. I didn't like that at first. As I continued to use it, I forgot about that fact and appreciated the protection. If you have a really small hand, it could be a problem, I guess. If you are shooting in a sandstorm in the Sahara, it will get dusty... but so will you. It is a little difficult to change batteries, but eventually I got the hang of it. You have to kind of "peel" back the edge around the battery door to get it to open. It does have a few flaws, but is certainly worth having. I will really appreciate it in a few years when my camera still looks new.

Overall good product
I bought this knowing I would be using my 30D outside at night for astrophotography along with travelling and day to day photography. I'm gentle on my camera, but I can't see not spending an extra 50.00 to have a long lasting body. I agree with the previous review that the product attracts some dust. I think it makes it slightly harder to push buttons and covers the original text on the body so it's a little harder to use. However, I can't imagine shooting in the dark I would see the text anyway. I liked the lcd cover and the body cover. I found the lens hood a little useless. I would recommend canon's lenshoods or manufacturer lens hoods. I like it because I'm not gumming up my camera with oils and wearing the body down from bumps it will undoubtedly get over years of use!

Armor
Overall a good product although it does seem to attract some dust. It fits the camera like a custom glove and doesn't interfere with any of the buttons or dials. Be prepared for the added bulk although it wasn't a problem for me. It's great protection for the money.
