This device by design is better than crutches. However, I have been disappointed with the materials and construction. The basket is very cheap and bends easily on any contact. The seat wobbles, the whole thing squeaks and one of the brake handles just split in two after six weeks (even though it really hadn't been used). The actual brakes are very cheap and thin plastic and wouldn't last long. Turn radius is also not the best and the device is difficult to transport. I rely on this device but I wished the manufacturer had used better quality materials - the frame is strong and cushion good. If they improved the materials used in the basket, break handles and breaks this would be a much better piece of equipment.

Very stable. Would have liked softer rubber tires cause the tires that come with it don't do obstacles very well. Some of the bolts loosened but my husband tightened them very tight and they seem to be staying ok. Overall, this knee walker is a very good deal for the price and it has been a lifesaver for me !!

This knee scooter is easy to use, and light enough that I can get it in and out of the car by myself. It's quiet and rolls smoothly. My only concern is that when the brakes are locked the scooter can still roll. It almost got away from me today. In all other respects, this is a quality item.

This product has been invaluable after my Achilles tendon surgery. The basket gives me a little bit more freedom being able to transfer various items as I move where as with crutches it’s difficult to carry things from room to room. It’s very sturdy and easy to put together. Cost almost as much to rent one so to buy this at the price it’s at was a no-brainer. Definitely recommend it if you are looking for a knee scooter. Much easier than crutches!

Reasonably priced sturdy, well-balanced walker with good dual breaking system. Turning can be awkward if space is limited, the molded plastic seat can be a bit uncomfortable when utilized for an extended amount of time, and there is hard impact with the molded wheels on pavement cracks.

It is a little loose which may be the person who put it together. When I got used to it, it is easy to move around. Easy to get through most doorways. I am 5'2" and I can use it flatfooted. Great device!

very sturdy, good design,. would give it five stars except steering could have a little more resistance, it tends to turn at every little crack,. takes some getting used to but works quite well.

This scooter is great. I'm glad I was able to get it before my surgery so I have a chance to practice. I feel that people that are having surgery on a foot really need this item. It's not real expensive but it's very useful.
