Anabolic Sport Food 80% Matrix Serum/Strawberry 5kg

It's very good. I usually by from myprotein (and will continue to do so) but this stuff is way cheaper, and it's a blend, with whey being the primary ingredient, cassein the second, and then soya. My other protein is pure whey so I like having a blend too (I'll usually have one shake of MP and one of these Sports Fuel per day). The flavour is fine. Nothing to rave about but tbh anyone that takes protein powder consistently for years, as opposed to the part timers that stop exercising about 6 weeks after they start, will know that no matter how good a powder tastes, you get sick of it eventually and just chug it down without really considering how it tastes. Good product, I fully recommend it.

The protein content is really good especially for how cheap this is - if you're looking to build muscle on a budget it's very useful. It also smells really nice like strawberry bubblegum when you open it.The only fault I have is the taste, but you definitely get used to it and it's understandable, barely even an issue considering the great protein content and price of this. People who whine about the taste also need to realise that this is a budget/cheap protein powder, of course it isn't going to taste delicious like the more expensive brands. The taste did bother me at first but you can easily mix it with flavoured yoghurt and some fruit like raspberries to offset the chalky taste with something more strong, sweet or bitter.If you are someone who is looking for a really sweet perfect tasting protein powder then chances are you will have to spend a bit more money on another brand. However if you're someone that isn't fussy and cares more about protein content and not draining your bank account, this is a very good deal. I've had no issues with it creating lumps or not mixing properly.

Great protein good quality and value for money

This protein powder doesn't have the same nasty aftertaste that regular whey protein does and also boasts more protein (30g serving 24g protein) as compared to myprotein impact whey powder which is 19g of protein per 30g serving. Even with water this powder is very tolerable and I have no problem chugging it down. The smell is very strong though.

Yes its super cheap, but that's not always a good thing.The strawberry flavor I ordered is disgusting. The texture isn't great but that's not the end of the world. I bought 5kg of the stuff which I'm now instantly regretting. Word of advice: don't be such a tight arse like me and just pay a little extra for a more well known brand. Maybe I've just been spoiled by indulging in only the finest quality whey protein, the kind Tony Montana would pile up on his desk and bury his face in. Perhaps I flew too close to the sun, and now i must endure months of god awful protein that make me want to quit the gym entirely, become morbidly obese and lose a foot to diabetes simply so I don't have to ever drink a protein shake ever again. Who would have though that powdered protein could make a grown man angry? Not I, but here we are.It is super cheap though, so, thumbs up for that!

Please don’t buy thinking this is a replacement for the 80/90% Whey you’ve stopped buying because MyProtein think it’s acceptable to charge £90 for 5kg on offer!Different product, different uses. Whey/Casein/Soya split and the taste would suggest it’s heavier towards the later two. Strawberry isn’t bad, and 30g is chuggable with 750ml water.Use to hit daily protein & macro numbers, keep a bag of true whey for when your body needs it post workout.

Decided to try this due to the rip off prices of the bigger brands but was pleasantly surprised and had a few bags of this now. Only tried strawberry so far and tastes nice enough with milk. Can taste a little bit powdery when mixed but I've had a lot worse and I think it's excellent value and serves a purpose.
