Shed Repair
This sealant tape makes a great weatherproof repair to cracks in my shed wall.

Too expensive
Way over priced for the amount of tape. It’s pretty standard tape that can be found in most D.I.Y stores. Quality wise it’s around the home brand type and way too little tape.

Peace of Mind in a Roll: Polar Premium Tapeseal Review
As a pond owner, I'm always prepared for the unexpected leak. That's why I keep Polar Premium Tapeseal on hand. Here's my take:Preparedness Pays: Let's face it, water leaks can happen anytime, and they can be a real pain to deal with, both in terms of damage and repair costs. Having this tape readily available gives me peace of mind knowing I can tackle small leaks quickly before they turn into bigger problems.Wider Coverage: This 2-inch width is wider than tapes I've used before, which means it can cover larger leaks or gaps more effectively. It's especially useful for sealing around pond edges, filter connections, or even leaky pipes.Pricey for Peace of Mind: The price tag is definitely higher than some other leak sealants. But for me, it's an investment in preparedness. After all, even a small leak left unchecked can lead to costly repairs down the line.Performance Unknown (for Now): Thankfully, I haven't had to use this tape yet, so I can't personally vouch for its effectiveness. However, based on similar tapes I've used and the brand's reputation, I'm confident it will perform well when needed. Not an Experiment: At this price point, it's not something you'd casually buy just to try out. But if you value preparedness and having a reliable solution for unexpected leaks, this tape is definitely worth considering.Overall:Polar Premium Tapeseal might be pricier than some options, but for pond owners or anyone who wants to be ready for potential leaks, it's a valuable tool to have on hand. The wider coverage and brand reputation offer peace of mind, even if you hope you never have to use it! Just remember, it's an investment in preparedness, not a casual purchase.

Limited uses and expensive
You really dont get much tape for the price so check the measurements before buying. The tape itself it thin, which means it'll crease easily and wont stink into any dents or depressions like bitumen tape does and I have to say I would use that in far more applications than this tape. However, this tape is easy to apply, and sticks firmly on flat surfaces like drain pipes (Assuming its been cleaned first). So any smooth surface this will be great, its a qaulity product for that kind of application

Sticky, shiny tape that sticks well. Expensive though.
⭐ Polar Premium Tapeseal is designed to instantly waterproof surfaces with strong rubberised tape, sealing cracks and leaks. You don’t get very much tape on the roll, so you need to carefully consider the right application for this. I found that the tape is not conforming or amalgamating but more like a roll of thin plastic with a sticky backing. I think that if you have some black guttering that is cracked or a smooth wall pipe that has a crack, then this tape would be a good choice. If you want it to seal over a compound curve, at a plumbing elbow joint, for example, then this is not the right stuff for that.⭐ The glue is very sticky and can be applied well to a clean and prepared surface. The only negative for me is the price; it is expensive for a 5-foot roll. Again, if you wanted to repair something such as in the aforementioned example, then it would be hard to find something that repairs as well as this, with a glossy, smooth finish. It’s certainly cheaper than replacing a whole run of guttering, even at just under £13 for a roll. ⚖️

Very sticky and strong
I got this tape to repair a crack in a downpipe coming from my conservatory. It is not bad enough to get a new one, so this tape is perfect. It is very strong and very sticky, and it wrapped around the pipe well and left no gap where water could leak through. At £12.99 for 5 feet it is definitely not cheap, but the Polar company is a quality one and so I would prefer to pay the extra to get something which is going to last and not have to do the job over again. We have had a lot of rain since I did the repair, and it hasn't budged, so hopefully it will do the trick.
