Tinden Photography Glove, Black, FlipTech Finger Caps with Magnets, Non-Slip Grip, Merino Wool Lining

The Tinden gloves fit my hands very well, and I was concerned that they might not, given some comments — very pleased. The quality of the workmanship however was inferior. I’ve worn the gloves only once in early March 2023 when there was snow on the ground and it was in the low 30F outside. The gloves were very comfortable and my hands got a little chilled for the hour that I was outside. I waded through a few feet of minor brush to get to a clearing where I took photos, then returned home the same way I came. The next day I noticed that the gloves were opening at the seam on the left hand (the hand I most often used to move bush limbs to clear my way). See the picture for the tear at the seam. These gloves are delicate and not as sturdy as I would expect at this price point.

I have another pair of these for less cold climates, but I needed another pair for Antarctica. On most days they were fine alone, but on really cold days I just added a glove liner or a hand warmer.As a pro photographer, I won't use any other brand for shooting in cold climates.
