Good bit of kit
Does exactly as described. I have never swept chimney before (stove flu) and found this easy to use. Clips together well and is well made, I had trouble pushing clips out so had to use a screwdriver but I've always had that issue with tent poles in the past. Would recommend this product - used with bosch cordless drill no problems on slow speed setting

Brilliant chimney brush set
I bought this to clean my four chimneys before having a stove with chimney liner installed. The installation guys remarked on how clean my chimney was. I found it easy to use and the rods slotted easily into and out of each other. Surprising what a lightweight piece of kit like this can achieve. It cleaned my four chimneys quickly and well and although lightweight, it seems robust.

Great piece of kit!
We bought this as we noticed we were getting a lot of tar on the chimney cowl...and our local sweeps were giving us long lead times and big charge estimates! We've used it twice now, since purchasing in January......(Fire has been unlit since end of April) Wow! Does a fantastic job, all the way to the cowl. It's a log burner with a flue liner, inside our old cottage's chimney.Clean-up is easy, thanks to the provided cover with sleeve for inserting the poles. Simply wash in machine afterwards.Downside to the kit is the connectors need the two of us to disconnect them again! π But you wouldn't want it coming apart up the flue! ....and the couple who sweeps together........ πMrs. Webb ππ»ββοΈ

Brilliant!!! Was worrying for nothing!!
Finally got around to using it and I must say I'm impressed!! Slots together easily and is held very secure, I've got 2 45 degree bends in my flue pipe on my log burner and it manoeuvres around these no problem. Also seemed to get out more dust than the expensive professional did last time it was cleaned.

Good, just be aware the rod fittings are a bit of a faff!
I watched a few Youtube videos showing the Chimney Typhoon in use and purchased the Power brush system. So, here's a totally unbiased review!Ok, these are a Chinese copy of the US ButtonLok/SnapLok system, the rods are a solid plastic /Nylon material, the main difference is the locking mechanism on the rods. These are a more simplistic version, a single sprung pin which locates into the female end. It certainly works fine, however it really is a bit of a faff to get off, you have to depress the catch with the tool provided then pull apart, sounds straight forward, but trust me it isn't!Getting on is certainly easier. However, apart from that and considering the price point, it's pretty good.I have a woodburner, with a 8'' stainless steel liner, popped up a GoPro before and after and I have to say, after use, the liner is as clean as a professional sweep.Perfect for using a couple of times a year, you just don't want to be using it every day, regarding, the lock pin system, but of course you know that..Forgot to say the brush is a Nylon/ strimmer type material, works fine without trimming down.Overall, pleased with the purchase, and probably the purchase cost, less than a chimney sweep call out..(albeit without the house insurance certificate)

Very handy kit! ...
Chimney sweeping made easy!So simple to use yet very effective, just pop the flexible rod(s) on the end of your drill and away you go.I use mine on a +/- 2 metre chimney from my multi burner (the chimney has x2 slight bends in it) and it has been bringing fantastic results destroying clung-on soot in its' path.Very handy kit! ...
