Best green tea
I'm so excited, this is delicious. Finally I found a tea that tastes like the green tea you get at an authentic Japanese restaurant.

Not as fragrant as I’d hoped
I fell in love with genmaicha green tea at Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf. Their tea is calming and so fragrant from the toasted brown rice. I was looking for a loose leaf version, so I tried this one. It has a smooth pleasant taste when brewed, but isn’t nearly as fragrant. I found every sip disappointing compared with the taste I was hoping for. The amount in the package feels like a good value. Tealyra has another genmaicha green tea variety available, so maybe I’ll try that one...

ORGANIC Genmaicha tea-the BEST tasting of 100's I have tried
Tealux Genmaicha organic! Non-organic tea is filled with chemicals. Be SURE to use 175 degree F water, NOT boiling! or you will get bitter tea AND steep for 30 seconds to 1 1/2 minutes! Do not over steep or you will get bitter tea. Do not reuse tea leaves unless you keep them hot or they will be bitter. I make a small pot of tea and pour my cup and then add more 175 degree water to the pot, sometimes. I LOVE the tea when made properly, so I use a thermometer each time, sticking it down the spout of the teapot. Works for me and now ALL of my tea tastes excellent!

Not the same as the tea in Japan
I went to Japan last year and I tried Gen Mai Cha Tea I felt in love with it. I bought the Tealyra version, I’m happy with my purchase but it’s not the same as the tea I tried in Japan.

I’m a Genmaicha lover, but this is bitter!
I’ve been drinking Genmaicha for quite awhile, and have tried at least 9 brands that I can think of (off the top of my head). While the toasted rice flavor is lovely, the green tea is extremely bitter. I through the rest out after the first cup.

Delicious!
Such a great tea! Have it before bed, not too much caffeine and not too minty/green tea tasting.

One Of The Best
I tried a few different brands of genmaicha tea on Amazon, and this is by far the best one. No stems in the tea, it tastes fresh and nutty, with a touch of floral. It's one of the best genmaicha I've tried so far, including the few I bought in specialty shops.

It is as good as the reviews say
It is much better than any GE Mauch a tea I’ve ever tried. Very fresh and full of flavour. I’m very picky about green tea and this one is just a perfect balance of flavour and freshness. In fact it is so flavourful I’m using the same leaves for 2 brews (to have 2 cups one after the other) and it still takes flavourful the second time around, unlike jasmin green tea from David’s tea I used before this one. I wish it was certified organic (it says it is organic but shows no certifications so It’s not very credible) but otherwise, it is perfect.

Nice organic tea - good flavour
Was looking for an organic tea as I only drink tea, no coffee. Love the taste of Genmaicha at our local sushi restaurant. Being organic and higher quality the flavor is a bit different than the restaurant cheap stuff but it still tasks great. A bit expensive but finding organic is a challenge and I'll get many many cups out of the 8oz bag. FYI I use a rounded teaspoon to 12 oz of water, so lots of cups in the bag.
