Veda Yoga Foam Blocks (Set of 2) Plus Strap with Metal D-Ring - Standard Studio Size 9" x 6" x 4"

I was wanting to get blocks and a strap, but I wasn't sure that the strap in this set would be very good quality. I kind of expected it to just be a junk strap thrown in so that they could call it a "set".Most of the other reviews focused on the blocks only. I am glad that I waited to order a separate strap, because this one was much better than I expected. It is well made, soft enough to be comfortable around my foot, and the material doesn't slip easily through the metal ring and tighten when I am trying to use it. The straps that are used in my studio classes often slip and tighten around you as you do your stretches, which make you have to stop to fix it. This strap stays in place better.The blocks are well made, too. They seem like they will last a long time, and the color is nice - true to the picture.Happy to say that this turned out to be a better value than I had even expected.

I spent way too much time reading all the reviews for yoga blocks from various companies and everyone product seemed to have issues ranging from blocks too soft, blocks chewed up/damaged, terrible odor or order not completely delivered. This particular offer was the best fit for me given I wanted two blocks and a strap. There were several reviews that discussed how the blocks were delivered without the strap and others about how they were a bit soft. Mine arrived on time with the strap and I found them to be quite firm. At least as firm or firmer than the Gaiam blocks I already had. They also had no bad odor, which I thought I saw on a few other reviews. Overall, great value IMO.

Exactly what I wanted and needed. The blocks are no joke--super durable and strong. My dog opted to try to eat them while I was in warrior pose and he did very little damage--and trust me this dog can destroy almost anything! They made my practice SO much easier by allowing me the chance to get into pose and remain there longer. My hip simply can not tolerate most poses so I need support--the strap was a great solution and the blocks saved me from falling over SO many times!!!! For flexibility and core muscle workouts these are awesome!! I am so glad I found a way to return to yoga safely!

These blocks are well made. I used them today for the 1st time, and they supported my hands well, while I concentrated on a pose that was 1/2 modified and called for the blocks. I also used the strap which was included, around my feet, for another modified pose. It's great to have these accessories available for you, instead of figuring it out too late, that they were needed to correctly do yoga for your individual level of flexibililty. The price is fair, the equipment sturdy, and Veda cares about what you think about them, which is a real plus, in a world of terrible customer service after the purchase is made. BTW, I did not get any compensation for this review, on the contrary, it's that I think quality deserves recognition.

I have quite a few Veda Yoga products and find EVERY product they sell/make is fantastic. Unfortunately, there was an issue with my order where Amazon only partially shipped my order - I contacted Amazon CS to correct this issue. This has nothing to do with the seller, but I note it as a tip in case it happens to someone else. This is a set of 2 yoga blocks plus a yoga strap. Irrespective of your Yoga experience/level, I think you'll find having your own blocks and straps are the way to go. I was able to sample this product in exchange for my honest opinion. As a repeat customer, I highly recommend all Veda Yoga products!

My only advice is to be careful while ripping the plastic wrap off the blocks. I have longish nails and accidentally dug a nick out of the first one. Even when I was trying to avoid repeating the action on the second one, it happened again. Maybe a change in packaging? However, the texture of the block is why I love them so much. The cork blocks are so hard and when I'm practicing a supported scorpion asana, or even just sitting in ardha virasana or virasana, the slight softness of the foam makes it so much easier to hold the poses comfortably.

The blocks and strap work really well; they help me and my husband to better perform certain poses where we are not as flexible. We have not used them long enough to attest to their durability over time. However, I anticipate them to last. The color of the product was outside of my expectations; I anticipated gray based on the picture, but it was more black/dark charcoal. However, this really did not matter to me!

Absolutely ideal blocks. Firm enough for this plus size lady to stand on while doing stretches.I thought I would need a more expensive cork block, but when I went back to my home studio and stood on the blocks, they had just a bit of give, just right to hold my weight.The strap is an added bonus!A great product that is very useful for all I require from foam blocks.Look no further! Whatever pose I will need sturdy blocks for, I know I have them in these!
