Thea Stilton and the Mountain of Fire (Geronimo Stilton Special Edition)

I gave this book to a 6-year-old first grader. This is the third of the Thea Stilton series and the little girl I gave these books to got so hooked on them, she taught herself to read within a few weeks. Each book not only contains an exciting story line with complicated characters that behave in predictable ways, but it also contains sidebars with wonderful information about the geography, culture, arts and sciences of the area where the story is taking place. The Mountain of Fire is set in Australia and so the reader learns about the geography and indigenous people of Australia, their tools, scientific tidbits, etc. The little girl who is reading this series reads the books over and over again, and everyone, including the adults, learns something. Parents can also go to YouTube or other internet sites while reading the sidebars to get video or images of what's being talked about. For example, this book introduces the boomerang, and YouTube has wonderful videos of how a boomerang works. Love these books!!!

i ordered these because amazon has a pretty good selection of childrens books, and my daughter and i can sit by the computer and look at many books in very little time , she has heard of these titled books before from her teacher at school , so i ordered them, she has enjoyed them very much ,she tells me about the storys and laughs at the plots of the story , you know a book is good when they read it twice, she reading them now, and i think she will read them again. she is 9years old. and an all A student at her school. She let her brother read some, and he liked them very much too.

this book is the best !!!!!!!!! so sad yet so funny ! love it . iv read nearly all the thea stilton series . never loved any book more than these seiries . love how you change the words . like " mousetastic "! awsome !!!!

My niece Really Enjoyed the reading. She said the book was an easy read and interesting. Great for young readers.

It was such a good book .I knew Mortimer did it from the beginning and Nate was the good guy.You will love this book and don't forget to read the next adventure.Hope you enjoyed this book just as much as I did.

My daughter is in 2nd grade and received one of the Thea Stilton books as a gift. She loved it so much she read it twice! The stories are interesting and it is fun to read with the bright colorful words sprinkled throughout the page, etc.

This was Thea sisters very first adventure. The book was full of suspense, adventure, mysterious. The book is really interesting and full of new vocabulary

Quality is good but I am giving two stars. The reason being many of the pages display very tiny on my Kindle Paperwhite 3rd Gen. It is frustrating. Is it only me or anyone has this issue? I am willing to modify my rating to 5 stars if the issue is addressed by Amazon. Thanks
