2x Pyramid Square Galvanised Metal Fence Post Caps - 4" 100mm Post Top

Had to replace a couple of posts and decided to get some of these to protect tops and smarten them up a little. First impressions are good. They are thick enough and fit well on the posts we bought. I measured our posts at 98-100mm. Used a couple of galvanised clout nails to hold them. Would be better if they were included. We happened to have some, but I might be annoying if you had to get a pack especially.

Fit my 100mm x 100mm gate posts perfectly. These come with a screw hole but no screws. No issue as hole is a regular enough size. Should prevent posts from reacting so much to the elements.

Sits on the fence.

I made a pair of gates supported by 2 4 inch posts. The galv tops finished the job a treat. They look very good.

Used at a cricket club to finish off the top of some low posts. Much better.

Very well made , look sturdy and robust.Fitted posts perfectly.

The finish is terrible. No attempt has been made to correct and distortion after galvanising. The only way to get them to fit a 4” post is to chamfer the edge. The tight fit means it’s very difficult to get them to sit on the post evenly.Not worth the hassle of sending back, but all in all, awful tat.They arrived in good time.
