Its a decent build and most importantly when I went to get the tanks filled, the guys were ready to tell me I'm out of luck but were surprised that these tanks are DOT certified and were good to swap... Both tanks...Unfortunately I got some janky ugly swap tank from the welding gas company in exchange for my nice brand new tank I had just got.

For those of us just getting into welding this means that this system is great for HAVC work, Precious metals work, but not for heavy steel nor can it ever be. The reduced size of the lines means that is is small and compact and easy to manage, but you almost cannot get flashback arrestors for it. In addition Osha now requires flash arrestors on all torches so you can not use them in a commercial setting. These are all things I learned after purchase. Would have been nice to know this up front. Most people trying to use torches at this price point, are hobbyist and just want to use occasionally, but you will do so at the risk of explosion without the arrestors, all things I would have liked to know before purchase. By the time I purchase the arrestors at over $100 I could have gotten a much better torch and bought the more common Size B system which is larger but can be made safe for far less money.Wish I would have done more research before this purchase, cause now I basically feel like I can't use it safely and this is a total loss for me or a far more expensive system to be made safe. All that said, the product delivered early, and was as described. Seems like a good torch just afraid to use it. I guess there is something to be said for the days when you could ask the sales guys questions and get the complete story.
