Works ... sorta...
Constructed from two parts that are glued together... I think the parts are made of polylactic acid (PLA), a bioplastic made from renewable resources like corn starch, sugar beet, and/or sugarcane and often used for 3D printing. That's the good news. I believe the parts are joined with cyanoacrylate (essentially CrazyGlue/SuperGlue). PLA and cyanoacrylate do not play well together (and while cyanoacrylate has great tensile strength, it has bupkis shear strength). Thus a slight jar across the product will shatter the glue and the parts will separate; my sample did just that. Too bad a single part print with a plastic like high-density polyethylene (HDPE) was not used. It would be a bit more flexible even if more difficult to print.

The device fits as advertised but threads and a bit tight for filters.
Purchased and used two or three times before the piece which attaches to the Seestar50 broke. Unfortunately, there are no replacement or return options. So best of luck and use with care.

Good idea
It's one of the few I've seen for the seestar s50 that has a threaded design to really hold on to your filters. I think that's a key design

Fits Well
It’s a bit hard to push it in but it does go in and holds well. My 2” filter threaded in perfectly as well.
