Great kettle! I'm so glad I took the risk and bought it.I've had this for 1 month at this point.Fast boil, even faster reboil if you feel it needs it because the water retains its heat. I have used the water 30min after a boil for tea, at that point it is still hot but you would want to drink it straight away. Up to 15min after boil the water is still good for a piping hot cuppa.It's not to loud.It is best to pour using 2 hands, one to hold the kettle, one to depress the cap but can be done one handed also.It is a little on the heavy side but I can't see this being a promlem unless you experience problems with your wrists.The water comes out in a controlled stream but if you want it to go faster, simply remove the lid.I bought the black model and was conserned it may be a bit invasive/dominant in the kitchen but it is actually quite subtle.It arrived fast and I have had no problems.I a busy mum and I'm in the house all day so this kettle gets a lot of use. I am loving not having to reboil the kettle every time I'm unable to make a cup of tea there and then. It is a great time and energy saver and I have no regrets over spending the extra money.

It is Heavier than most but then I suppose it is to be expected if you consider everything that this superlative Kettle gives you.Its specification tells you that it is unlike any other kettle so its weight will reflect that, particularly when filled to its maximum (why do so many of us tend to put in more than we need ?)It is so quick to boil and it switches itself off safely when ready.So please don't moan about the price, it is absolutely without doubt a superlative product and it must deserve its higher cost.It is manufactured to a very High Standard.Its specifications are without doubt extraordinary.As you can tell, this Senior Citizen is highly delighted with a kettle that will more than outlast me !

Since working from home the kettle is constantly being boiled- now we fill it once in the morning and it keeps us going for a few hours. Looks good too. The only small fault is that it’s quite heavy when full - so hard to pour with one hand.

There is no temperature control unless that means turning it off before it fully boils and when it does fully boil it spurts boiling water everywhere, one of the selling points was anti spill this doesn't work either, cannot see how much water's remaining the only advantage is it does retain its heat. Very disappointing.

24 November review I put ok 1year today kettle is leaking having bought on 24th October

Very heavy. No idea how much water in kettle. No need to continue to boil BUT amount in kettle not shown.On the whole OK

I loved the design of the kettle but when it arrived it wouldn't sit on the base straight and wobbled around it quite an alarming way. I certainly wouldn't have boiled water in it so sadly returned it. Very disappointed.

It feels he averaged and more awkward than my previous Vektra but is nicer to look at.
