Quality made, I tested it to make sure it works & it did! Need to set alarm every 5 -10 mins to keep an eye on the temperature of water or plastic pail, etc for safety reasons. Keep kids away. I had yet to use it regularly which I have not. I will give updates to the review when I have multiple use with it!. I also bought a similar heater but shorter and both are good and so are their price. some similar heater have a thermostat but of course it Cost more for the extra feature. Just be safety conscious when using.

It works well but the cord gets quite warm over extend use. I'm sure it's fine for a few minutes at a time but I'm using it to maintain heat in a larger vessel. It should have beter quality wires and insulation. For what i paid though.... I'll allow it.

WORKS FOR WHAT I USE IT FOR I used it as a heating element in a DIY sous-vide oven with a temperature controller from amazon.. I used a retired 30 can beer cooler for the container..

It heats up a 5 gallon bucket of water quickly but there is no way to hold it away from the side of a plastic bucket other than suspend it from the cord, which works ok. Cleaning is suggested after every use especially with hard water. I used it to heat water until I installed a new water heater.

Heats water fast, use a ceramic cup for the end if using in a plastic pail, so it does not melt the pail, also leave in water for 30 seconds after turning off, otherwise the element will burn out, needs that time to cool down the element.

The heater works fine, but it's certainly not stainless steel. It came with a bit of rust already on it, and has only gotten worse each time I use it as an immersion heater. Disappointed, but I guess you get what you pay for.

I was glad to fine bigger ones to heat a bucket of eater. This works fine!

Only used 3 times and it rusted completely very cheap quality definitely not stainless steel plus cord and plug get extremely hot cost $25 to return DO NOT BUY!
