I bought these to take my daughter to a psychedelic sort of art museum with black lights. They feel like a cross between a too-hard eye shadow and watercolor paints. You're supposed to use water. Just dip your brush in water. It's not terribly difficult. I tested one very slightly on my hand so I could hardly see the color, and then shined a UV flashlight on it. It glowed much more than it was visible in the normal light. Not that it's hard to get them to show, but my point is that they really do glow. Happy I bought this. No complaints at all.

Recently used these for a Blacklight/Glow Party and loved how vibrant and glow effectiveness. The only takeoff is the paint thickness and consistency after application. I applied the paint and after 15min the product dries to a loose powder that easily comes off if you accidentally touch your body/face. Also, dont recommend this paint to any person who has easily perspirates. My event was indoors with AC and with even a slight of sweat the application will be very difficult(paint will smear) since the paint has a low viscosity after applying water. However,compared to other facepaints I've used, the colors are spectacular under blacklight only. Slightly visible in under regular light (first photo)

I put a layer of water on top of the paint and let it sit for 10 min. This allowed the paint to be super thick. I used it on some black poster board as signs in our blacklight room for a party. It looked a little thin under regular light but was super dramatic under the black light. The colors are so vibrant! The brushes that came with it were fine. I used my better water color brushes to get fine lines.

I did not think it was a great product the colors were not strong as they were described on the Internet and taking off I had to apply several coats before I could see a good color in effect I was happy

I got these for Halloween. Easy to apply and bright. I was using a pretty intense black light though, like the kind that buzzed a little and puts off some heat but a couple of coats would be easy to do if needed. Not as easy to remove as regular makeup but unless your under a black light after washing your face you won’t notice. Pleasantly surprised for the price.

Impressive opacity. Placed water on colors about 15 minutes before using to make them a bit easier to work with. Had to layer in a few spots, but layered well.The white is actually not visibly white - it shows translucent on skin under normal lighting, but is visible when under UV light.Overall very happy for the price.

i bought this set and another set of body paont from another company and had an awful time with this set. it did glow but only is you managed to build up enough layers of the paint. felt powdery and dry once it dried on the skin and i felt it didnt do the job at all. only thing good about it was that cleaning it off was easy. and thank goodness cause i used it once then never again

The media could not be loaded.  The colors look beautiful but when I received mine my case was already broken 🥺🥺so that really sucked

Ok, stars and here’s why:I was impressed with the container and the brushes. Most of the colours glowed. The ones that didn’t I knew how to work around that. This is a brand I know well in all my art endeavours.The reason why many have given a low rating on the product is because the paint was “too watery”. Which I can understand. The instructions state to mix water with the paint until desired consistency. The frothier, thicker consistency the more bold the pigment. For people unused to this type of paint it can be frustrating.My only complaints, would have been the delay in delivery which was remedied quickly and easily through amazon despite my non complaint over a one day delay. Also, a few of colours don’t portray properly, but again with my experience I can work around it.Will I buy this product again? Absolutely.

Very reactive to UV light. I used both LED and fluorescent (CFL) lights for a test shoot. I didn't try all the colours. The "white" colour actually is blue under UV light. The cakes are hard and require adding water with a brush or Q-tip which allows for a thick or thin application. Removal was easy and no skin reaction.

Very good UV reaction. Product will serve you well. I am having great difficulty getting the paints outve my clothing however. I’m pretty sure you’re not supposed to get it on fabrics... but I sure did:)

Only some of the colours work

The kids love these colors when mixed with my normal every day face paint. They add a pop of bright and happy colors. Happy with the pigment, the color variance as well as the size of the pots and cost!
