The board is so large, it comes as a number of pieces which need to be slotted together, jig-saw style. This activity probably needs the input of a much older child or adult: the numbers on the pieces are, in some cases, where the jig-saw has cut through them, so are not always easily identifiable, though the pictures on the pieces should not be a problem to align.The game, itself, looks to be fun, and was an instant hit with its 3-year-old recipient. The counters and dice are large, far too big to swallow. I foresee many hours of entertainment with this well-crafted and brightly-coloured game!

Great idea two games in one and keeps the little ones entertained! This is a good quality large puzzle board game and is easy to navigate around. The dice is a large size and child friendly (not hard material). This is great to play with the children and need no supervision at all!

My grand kids I know they are going to be happy with it.

Bought my three year old this snakes and ladders game for Christmas. He absolutely loves it. We must have played it 50 times within the first 24 hours. The puzzle is fun to do to put the game together and it’s really good quality. Hoping it lasts.

2yr old grandaughter loves it. She can put the puzzle together herself, as it is very large. She loves playing with help.

Thought this would be great as it would be a jigsaw and a snakes and ladders game which only goes to 49 (I think and not 100 so as to keep a young child's interest as games don't go on for ages) Due to the large size we can only use it on the floor, if we put it on the table my grandson can't reach as the counters they get further up the board and you know he wants to move them!! so for grandparents having to sit on the floor to play is not ideal. On the plus side lovely big counters and dice which my little one loves, its a thick jigsaw and good quality but just not great for us oldies.

If looked after and assembled with care this game can last for many occasions. It all depends on the patience of young people to create this game first before playing with it.It is certainly an old favourite and it is good to see that it is as popular today as it ever was!

I gave this to my grandchildren, age 4and 2, for Christmas. It was a great hit and they enjoyed making up the jigsaw puzzle and then enjoyed playing the game of snakes and ladders.
