Loved the comparision
Loved the comparison of the way Amazon vs Walmart .The depth of data and way management approached by Prof is amazing.Sitting in India I didnt knew much about Walmart.The book talks about what each store is good at. Amazon is great at electronics, Walmart at food. Both are trying to do what the other does well.

Just finished this amazing book by Prof Nirmalya Kumar....which gives amazing insights and clear perspective into the business models and growth strategies followed by the retail and e commerce giants and their road to future.Written in an easy to comprehend way, wherein each chapter ends with summary in form of Chapter Takeaways. A must read for anyone remotely linked to E Commerce or Retail and each b school kid.

Fantastic read. Just what a business book should be, challenging conventional wisdom, eschewing trite ideas, focused on business models, talk revenue, cost, margins etc.
