All though my wife did like it she found actually holding it down in between the pages was actually more difficult than just doing it normally..unfortunately did not work out well for her. Still a really cool item.

Love this product! It is a wonderful tool for reading in many different situations and positions. I have used my book holder while reading in bed, in a rocking chair, in the car, at the pool, and on my treadmill it is comfortable and easy to use. The thumb hole is large making it user friendly for any size hands (my husband has large hands and it fits his hand with room to spare). It most definitely works better with paperback but will work with both. I highly recommend this product. It is lightweight and good quality.

Love this page holder. I got another book page holder but this one isn't as big. I also like its made of wood because the plastic page holders can mess up the book pages. I got this in the mail faster than I thought I would and the writing on it is a plus!

It holds the book open but repeatedly shifts so reader must use other hand to repeatedly readjust.

I thought this would be helpful when reading or something similar where both hands weren't free, but it just wasn't. I was more uncomfortable than useful, and doesn't make much of a difference. I would not recommend, for yourself or as a gift.

Smaller than expected, but that's actually a good thing. Good quality. Pretty font. I got it as a Christmas gift for an avid reader with arthritis problems, so I'll update my review when I get her first hand (no pun intended) opinion on it!

While this may seem like a brilliant idea, I can most definitely assure you that it is not.I bought this as a gift for my grandmother, but upon arrival, I realized how stupid it really was. It is too big anyways, and the wood is quite heavy. It makes no difference in the fatigue of your hand.This came in a single plastic bag, making it an extremely inelegant gift.Please save your money and consider a different product altogether.
