Customer service is excellent. Replaced the item after it failed (18 months of use) with a brand new replacement, no questions asked. Charger gives off clicking and has a small flashing light to indicate proper functioning which is an easy way of checking on it from afar.

Great little fence enrgizer. I have it set up for my chickens and it works great. Just plug and play basically.

Worked great for 3 months then leads on the device fell off. Update: the company sent me a new one as long as these leads hold up this is a great device. Packs a punch (ask me how I know)

It pulses at 50 times per minute, not 60, which is still faster than most chargers so I will keep it. Also, yes, it puts out 12 kv when no fence is connected, and when a load is connected, such as the fence, the voltage on my fence is 6000 which is right where it's supposed to be. The digital display shows the input voltage of the battery or AC adapter, not the fence voltage. Be sure to peel off the thin protective plastic on the front of the unit and doing so will reveal the shiny beautiful appearance of it. It powers my 20 acre, 5 strand 12.5 gauge wire fence just fine, keeping feral pigs out and cows in. Instead of the banana plugs, 12.5 gauge insulated wire will fit into the red & black fence and ground connectors Plenty of power, good product, thank you.

THIS IS NOT WATER RESISTANT. So the seller just admitted to me after 4 messages. I have asked to return it, an outdoor device that is not water resistant is just a bad joke. Draws too much power. and its volt reading is inaccurate. I put it in to replace a 30-mile Parmak charger that's going in for repair. This one is much stronger, OK, but it must be wasting power. It draws down the big deep cycle battery much more than the Parmak did. I have to unplug it every day or so and let the battery recover. The Parmak ran fine with this battery and a panel half the size of the new one I put on. Alas, reviews say Parmak has gone downhill in quality. So I'm having my old one rebuilt. Another review here says the guy opened it up and a sticker inside said it must be kept dry. Wow, a dry requirement for an outdoor fence power supply? That's like having a Ferrari but you can't start the motor or even sit in it. It's like a big delicious steak made out of plastic. What madness. Now I have to go build it a little wooden coffin.

Very good value for the money. Easy to set up, helps protect our produce from the small masked bandits. Will update about durability after a full season.

I have used the fence charger for over a half year now. I have 2 acres horse, cow, goats and pigs and have not had any get out. I use 6 wires from ground 4”, 8”, 12” 24” 36” and 48”. All connected to the charger and it has worked very well. I would buy again.
