This is such a cute solar light! It really does light up the ground well

I bought this lantern as a gift for my sister who is a Bigfoot enthusiast and she was thrilled! They have an enclosed patio where they have a grill and picnic table, and the lantern makes a great addition to the ambience. She sent me the pictures I’ve included in my review.

I’m obsessed with Bigfoot so when I saw this I just had to buy it! When hanging at night can see Bigfoot on ground!!! Very cool! Everyone who sees it loves it too! Get ya one!!🙂

This was smaller than expected, but still amazing. Lovely detail and the light looks great. Try to hang it if you have it because there’s an illumination of a dog that shows up beneath it.

I generally really like this! It does have a very cute design that is seen - as long as it’s indoors. If you keep it inside, then it’s great!However, I wanted it outside. Outside, the design is too garbled to see. It’s also not great for shedding light. It makes sense, when you think about it; the way it makes the pattern is by blocking the light. However, I didn’t think about that. I wanted it as a cute way to have light outside.On the pro side, it has worked after being rained on. It does charge enough to light up the area for at least a couple of hours at night - and it gets very little sun where I put it!However, as I said, the light it sheds is minimal. It works great as a light to show people where to go - you’ll see it glowing from far away. But it gives very little light to the area around it. So, while it recharges by the sun and is waterproof, it seems like this is a better item to keep inside. Or maybe put on a porch where there's a solid floor under it?I still like it! It’s still cute. It just didn’t quite work for what I wanted it for.

As soon as I saw this I knew I had to have it in the back yard, I knew my husband would love it! I ransacked the garden shed looking for the small shepherd hooks so I could put it out in the sun by the fence the minute I unboxed it so it could charge. I couldn't wait for my husband to see it lit up when he took the dog out to pee that night! (I didn't show it to him prior) It did not disappoint!!! lol I kept the window open and heard him laughing!!! It charged super fast. It's like a brushed bronze finish. It seems sturdy enough. I placed it right beside our wood full privacy fence. Because there's no break in the fence boards, it really showed up well at night! It stayed lit up for about 6 hours. He's been named Harry (Harry and the Henderson's). Great buy!

I have no complaints about this solar lantern. It looks exactly as pictured and the quality is what I expected. I own a few similar looking lanterns that have faded from a bright copper to a dull brownish colour, so I expect that will happen to this one eventually too. For now though, it is as shiny as a new penny and when lit, it casts a very cute pattern of light.
