Had 3 magnetic ones over the yrs and they were all rubish, either not fast charge or just really rubish magnets. This mechanical cradle works great, holds the phone well with no movement and it does indeed fast charge wirelessly. You do need a fast charge car charger; obviously and it would be nice if this was bundled with with one. I use my rear seat power socket so needed to use a longer cable but have lots of these laying around the house. Very good product..

I have bought 2 wireless in car chargers before this, and this is the first one that a) charges through my case, and b) stays attached to the grill of my air vents firmly. I really like casually dropping my phone into it and having it stay firmly in place, and immediately having it charge. It's convenient and we'll designed. The holder has a plastic base (the charging unit) and the holder itself is made of solid metal so it feels incredibly robust.

This is a great wireless charger. It secures well into the air vent with no chance of it falling off. I am overall very pleased with it. The reason I only gave it four stars is that it is supplied with a micro usb cable and not a cigarette lighter charger. The usb connection in my BMW does not give enough power to charge the phone and I assume all other cars are the same. I would suggest that the seller highlights this issue and puts a link to a suitable connector.

This product is a great purchase for the money overall.It can be a bit tricky to install securely so that the vents dont move too much, especially in the case of my Focus. It does however, fit well to the side of the steering wheel.The aesthetics of the product are brilliant and it just happens to match my car interior. I'm a stickler for wires so I purchased a longer micro USB and ran it behind the dashboard to the power source.It does feel more 'cheap' than I expected but you get what you pay for.It holds my s10+ well without any movement and it is easy to place the phone in the holder.One side note, make sure you have either a cigarette port USB adapter that is qi 3.0, or make sure your in car USB has enough power output to charge wirelessly. If there is not enough power (in the case if the USB in my glove box) it will charge intermittently. When I have it plugged into my 3.0qi USB cigarette port adapter it charges no problem.

Worked great for a few weeks then stopped working. After well over a dozen emails and almost 2 weeks after emailing seller still don't have the replacement as I collected from a locker and the replacement had been sent there via royal mail with no way that I can see for postman to put it in a locker or me to collected it as it was literally addressed to an amazon locker (no name etc) great product if it worked but rubbish support

Bought it for my husband as his Samsung's charging port is "playing up". Had a few quotes for fixing it and the price is just outrageous. This pad seemed as a compromise as it is obviously much cheaper than repairing the port or changing the phone. He has never had this type of charger before, so was sceptical. All doubts are gone now. Very convenient device, fast charging. The only downside is that he needs to remove his phone case prior to charging. We both have very thick, kids' proof rubber cases, so I guess that's just it. Haven't tried it with a slim case, don't have one.

I don't usually bother writing reviews, good or bad, but I am on this one, because I'm sure I can't be the only person who wants a wireless charging stand to have no bl**dy lights on it at all, so you can have it next to your bed without it randomly lighting up throughout the night.Anyway, I'm disappointed with the product and also the reviews saying "it has no lights at night", as this is not exactly accurate or true. I'll explain.The white light around the base in particular is bright, not a soft glow. The large silvery looking plastic lump the phone sits on lights up as well - whilst not piercing LED light, it's still bright despite being an opaque plastic.Putting the phone on charge on my bedside table last night just after midnight it glows / pulses a few times and goes out. Didn't wake the wife, but that was probably because I had my hand infront to block it. Not ideal, but not a huge problem so far.It also lights up brightly when the phone is charged, which I noticed when it woke me up at 3am.However, after this and all through the night, it seemed to illuminate a number of times. Presumably when the phone decides to draw a bit more charge, then reach fully charged state again - so flashing for charged, then flashing again for charging.For the love of God/Allah/whoever (just to make sure no-one gets offended), why is a charging stand lighting up like Blackpool a desired feature?!Off to try find another one now, without any lights.Definite gap in the market for one with no lights at all. They're totally surplus to requirements anyway, because your phone itself gives all the notifications you need regarding the charging state of your phone.
