HECHT 5654 - lawn mowers (Manual lawn mower, Gasoline)

While the shipping of the product was late, once it arrived the product itself was very good. Arrived in a sturdy box and I had it assembled within 15 mins. There are no real assembly instructions but common sense and following the product photos made this easy. Having added oil and petrol It started first time.I used it over 6hrs on first day of use with no problems. As others have said, forget about the collection box, I held it open with a few fixings and it worked very well. Given the motor driven blades it has the feeling of being self propelled as it pulls through the moss and turf so no problems in manoeuvring.

Incomprehensible instructions written in broken english

I have a large garden, mainly to lawn under trees, and so I have an ongoing battle with moss.This scarifyer was well upto the job , but for large areas the collecting hopper was rather small and needed to be emptied often . I found the best way was to leave the hopper off and collect the moss after scarifying with my sit on mower.That said it is an excellent machine,easy to assemble and easy to start

great machine certainly shifts the moss

Good for scarifing the moss and thatch with 4 setting levels. Not really an aerator as it only goes down 12mm maximum depth. Biggest gripe is that it is very difficult to start the engine when it is new.
