Panels are great, READ DIRECTIONS
panels are really good and will expand to proper size if instructions are followed. They come vacuum sealed and super thin for the most part. The instructions say to EITHER let them sit and expand, OR run them under warm water, which I was wringing them out under the water to force them to absorb water. once I did that they all expanded to the correct size. DON'T put them on the wall until they are fully expanded as they expand length and width as well as dept so they'll sit funny on the wall if they have not fully expanded yet.

Effective Sound Absorption Acoustic Panels
The media could not be loaded. I recently expanded my home recording studio and was struggling with echo and reverberation issues given the larger space. After installing these panels on my walls, the difference was palpable. The sound quality is now incredibly crisp and clear - full disclosure though, I have these covering one entire wall, and different types of sound panels sprinkled on the other walls (they have much less space to cover than the main wall these are on). I was hesitant to spend money on more acoustic panels - because I had plenty from my original space - but those were in rough shape and I wanted a better look in my new room, and these are definitely worth the investment. They look really nice/sleek on the main wall! The high-density foam is fire-resistant (according to description, I have no personally tested this), and the panels are easy to install and clean - I used the sticky squares they came with and so far none have fallen off the wall (which is really impressive because we built the room with basic, rough textured wooden wall panels). I highly recommend the Sound Proof Foam Panels to anyone looking to improve the sound quality of their recording space or home theater. The 24-pack is a great value, and the 12" x 12" x 1" size is perfect for covering a large area.

Easy to install
These are easy to install and definitely dampen sound. They reduce the noise through the wall and it helps with the loud sound of my air conditioner as well as the sound of the city. The downside is that they don’t look great. The panels are different thicknesses. Some pieces are thin, some are thick. The edges don’t match so it’s not the prettiest, but I don’t care about that as much. This is great if you want to put a quick sound solution up quickly and aren’t concerned with visual imperfections.

Poor quality and uneven cuts
I was excited to land a cheap product that looked good on the pictures, that is until I received mine. The cuts are poorly cut and some pieces are bigger than others. I followed all their instructions and still the results were bad !

Didn't use as intended
I originally ordered these to help keep the sound down between my 18 year old sons room and my 2 year old grandsons room. They share a wall and my son likes to stay up gaming at night. Once I received these sound proof panels I knew I couldn't put these on the adjoining wall in either room. They for one, are not nice looking or even "ok" looking. Quite honestly, they are horrible visually. Yes they would work to reduce the noise transfer between the rooms but at what cost? Each square is a decent size and gives a fair amount of coverage. Don't adhere very well unless you use double sided tape or velcro straps. So, I found another use for them. We use them around the window acs to keep cool air in and hot air out. Not ideal but, they work. If you are intending on using these for sound proofing, be sure that you so not care about the "look" of your space.

It will remove the paint from the wall.
I bought 24 pieces, and when I had pasted half of them, I found that if you peel them off, the paint on the wall will fall off. If you don't use these things, you will need to find someone to repaint.
