This is a lovely book full of oldFolklore stories from all over the world ....I read it to my grandchildren and they love them .

I am an adult with ADHD and I love this book. Short stories and great illustrations. It came a little bit damaged a but disappointing but it’s not too bad. Maybe need to improve the packaging.

A lovely book with a range of stories. I got this for my husband to read to our new born after seeing him spending ages looking at it in a book shop.

This series is a hit in our family. We started with the Spooky Stories before Halloween. Highly recommend! My kids (8 & 6 yo) loved spooky folk fairy tales from around the world.A Year Full of Stories is perfect too!!! Each months has a couple of stories dedicated to the traditional/ religious holidays from around the world. The stories are 1-2 page long. Perfect short read/ discuss before sleep.Illustrations are very nice too.

I have been reading this to my sons as bed time stories. I wanted give them an exposure to different cultures and understanding - this book is a great place to start for their age. My eldest loves to find out where the stories came from. He particularly loved that the legend of Gelert was in the book as he has visited Beddgelert a few times and he was able to connect the story to the place. I would highly recommend this book. I now need to order the others in the series!

I love this book - it looks beautiful with such wonderful illustrations and the stories are simply excellent. I am using this book for a programme of school assemblies to celebrate global diversity. Children across all age groups have really enjoyed the tales so far - they are well-written and a great length; long enough to be engaging but short enough to really hold the audience! The themes and messages are great for school values and aid wonderful discussions. Highly recommended! *****

I loved the fact that this book addresses a multitude of holidays and celebrations from many different cultures. The illustrations are wonderful at bringing the stories to life.

Gorgeous book. I teach in a year 2 classroom and it's so nice to have a story a week to share that links in with different seasons and international days.I do find some of the language and themes from some of the story are a little old for my class, so it's a book more suited to 7+ years. But I do look forward to sharing these stories which my class anyway to develop their vocabulary.As the stories are genuinely quite short and themes are complex we can turn each story into a mini-lesson through PSHE.
