I recently decided to upgrade the lighting in my workshop and stumbled upon the obullights 100W UFO LED High Bay Light. My space isn't massive, but good lighting is crucial for the detailed work I do. Here's my experience with it after a couple of months of use.First off, the installation was straightforward. I'm not particularly handy, but I managed to get it up and running without too much hassle. The light output is impressive. It's like going from standard definition to high definition in my workshop. The difference in visibility and how it enhances my workspace is night and day.The UFO design is sleek and more compact than I expected, which is a nice aesthetic upgrade over the traditional, bulkier high bay lights. It doesn't take up much space at all, and the design minimizes dust accumulation, a little bonus I appreciated.However, it's worth noting that while the light coverage is broad and even, there were a couple of spots in my workshop that needed some additional task lighting. It wasn't a deal-breaker but something to consider if your space has a lot of nooks and crannies.Durability is something I'll have to wait and see about, but so far, it feels solid and well-made. The LED technology is supposed to last a long time, so I'm hopeful I won't have to think about replacing it anytime soon.In summary, the obullights 100W UFO LED High Bay Light has been a fantastic addition to my workshop. It's provided me with the bright, efficient lighting I needed to improve my productivity and the quality of my work. While it may not illuminate every corner perfectly, its performance, energy efficiency, and sleek design make it a valuable upgrade.

I like how well this light is made and how bright it is. Installing it was very easy, but I don’t like that there is not an on/off switch on this light. It gets warm but seems to dissipate heat efficiently, however; I would not leave this on unattended just to be safe.

I got this LED High Bay Light for my garage since the standard light bulb does not light up the space bright enough. I usually have to wait for a bright sunny day to do any work in the garage, jus so I can open the doors to get enough light. This LED light is super bright, it lights up the garage fully. Now I can get ahead of the spring and do some cleaning and organizing while keeping the doors closed. This will make it easier for me to start painting and fixing up that space sooner.I like the brightness of the LED light, I noticed there is no on and off switch, that could be a problem since the ceiling in the garage is very high. I would have to put a hook on the ceiling and run an extension cord so I can plug it in. I a not sure if that is safe, since I noticed it does run a bit hot for LED (I' guessing because it is 100W) in any case, I would have to use a heavy duty extension cord to be able to plug it in and unplug it when it is not in use. I don't think I will be leaving this light on unattended.The light does have a nice heavy duty screw in attachment to hang, it just a matter of installing a hook or something to hang the light on. The power cord is not long to reach an outlet, unless you have one on the ceiling joist which is connected to a switch to control. That's the only way this light will work on a switch. I am no electrician so I will be using the easy method with extension cords.It is a very bright light and allows you to have any area well lit for me to clean and paint the room. I like its versatility, having the option to move it around as needed.

Compact and bright UFO style LED high bay light fixture. The relatively small size and light weight of the fixture belies the 100W LED output which produces a large amount of light for such a small fixture. Very easy to install, basically you just hang them from the ceiling/whatever is above. Includes 3 prong pigtail cord, mounting hook, and security tether. Note these types of lights are high output so they do tend to product some heat (they have heat sink fins on top to help dissipate the heat but may get pretty hot to the touch when powered on). This fixture also has the driver in a separate compartment from the heat producing LED array to further help with heat control.

This light is simply fantastic as a overhead shop/task light!It's extremely bright! ours was delivered without a supporting hook, but this was easily remedied with the use of a 1/4" stainless steel eye hook.I especially like that the unit includes an attached cable hook to secure the lamp incase the main hook assembly fails.The only criticism I have is that the frequency of the lamp interfered with taking photos with my iPhone - a hazy striped appeared on every photo I took when using this lamp.Otherwise, it's fantastic. It weighs what you'd expect for such a lamp (a bit hefty), it gets hot with extended use, and it's bright like the sun. Highly recommend.

This UFO light is great. I have tried many of these in our plant, and this one is excellent. Lightweight, includes hanging chain, and uses very little wattage. They do get a little warm, but that is to be expected. The fins on the light dissipate that well.
