Flinger Easy-fit Mountain Bike Rear Mudguard

this is for my grandsons new bike. We have'nt given it to him yet as it is for his birthday in a few weeks time. I am sure that both he and his family will be delighted with this product and it will do just what we wanted it to do!!

When in place properly this is a fine product but the design on the attaching bit is very poor. it's hard to adjust and it's hard to get it just right for the seat post because of it. once I got it adjusted right for my bike it was okay for a bit but it seems to start working itself loose and so it moves away to the side when I'm riding my bike making it useless, it also tends to move down my seat post until it almost touches the tyre.spend a little more on something that has a decent attaching system that uses bolts or because this will drive you up the wall.

The mudguard would be fine if they'd have just used a standard connector but they have this stupid complicated fabric strap style thing to attatch it to you bicycle with, which there is no point going through the effort of because once it is attatched it won't grip the tube. So no matter how much you tighten it, the fabric stretches and loses its grip within a few minutes. By the time I finished my journey the mudguard was wagging like a dogs tail and I had dirty rainwater all up my back. Waste of money.
