My Dad has kept serious insomnia for several years, it’s much worse in the past 1 year. He tried everything to go to sleep:  hypnotic, sleep pill, melatonin, wine, herbal, the list goes longer but still helpless. He has been eating healthy and do a lot of exercising as much as he could. I got books from the library and he hated them all. Till one day I know a gadget named White Noise Sleep Machine. It brings me great surprise! He still can not go to perfect sleep as expected, but now he dozes off and wakes up more rested, with this white noise machine, He give up the medicine and alcohol at same time. He had this for 1 week and this change is definitely noticeable! There are 9 sounds (9 buttons) are listed:  ocean, thunder, soothing music, white noise, wind, brook, summer night, rain, relax music. 7 natural sounds and 2 music, separately buttons for each sound, it’s very easy to choose the one you prefer. "Ocean" is perfect, The rhythm of waves gave you such a sense of freedom and tranquility, you think the you could see the sunrise in the bedroom."Thunder" is odd as you would think thunder is a scary noise, but it may work for your sleeping!"Summer Night" has chirp and bark in the distance. You feel sleep in a quiet village though this noise is around you. "Rain" is by far the most relaxing. That’s a good explanation why most people could have a good sleep in rainy day. "White Noise" such as static of the sort you might pick up between radio stations, it is stable and continual."Brook" sounds bubbly and is my favorite... it sounds like a brook, I can see some fishes swimming in the water even“Wind” made you feel the delightfully cool in the evening, I believe it’s comfortable in summer day.Soothing and Relax music has pleasant melody, I think a crying baby need it.Dad always turn machine to the maximum volume - I can hear it when pass his room - but he can sleep with it. I come in and turn it down and he doesn't wake up. The sound is loud, but seems it’s not unobtrusive, but make me have better concentration during reading or working in the bedroom next to him. I was surprised at the sound quality especially when she had it turned up so loud, but it was still very good. That’s another reason I would like to recommend!

I love this machine it helps adults and grandbabies to relax to fall asleep faster. Waking up feeling refreshed! Only wished it was a little bit louder.

Great Product. I wish it had a regular plug in the wall cord instead of the USB.

This is everything the description said it would be. The sound is great, and there is a great range to adjust the sound. The directions state there is an ac adaptor included. There is a cord, but no plug. I am so happy I did my homework, checked out the reviews and decided on this one!

This sound machine is fabulous....easy to use with quality sound. I had purchased a different machine previously and the sound on this brand is far superior. It is much smaller than the old sound machines made years ago. Enjoy going to sleep without traffic sounds keeping you awake.

Very soothing. I suffer from insomnia and this actually helps. E relax. Also calmed my grandson when he comes over and it’s nap time
