Very effective once you know how to use it!
I had some issues with the shipping but Adamson reached out and I was very impressed by their customer service! I can unreservedly recommend them because the cooling mat works amazingly well! I've set it up for my dogs to use and they were perfectly comfortable even though the thermometer hit 100 degrees here the other day. There's a nice swamp cooler effect with cold air blowing from the fan, and the water circulating through the mat makes it significantly colder than the surrounding area! I've followed the warnings posted in other reviews to zip tie the tubing, only fill the water reservoir halfway, and clean it frequently by mixing a splash of rubbing alcohol into the water each time I used it and haven't had any problems. My dogs get so cold that they go from panting to happily shivering even on the lowest setting! It's been working well for a few weeks now and should be sturdy enough to last quite a while!I struggled writing this review because of my mixed feelings with what happened and would still hesitate to buy another of these for my own use but I can't argue with the effectiveness of the product. For that reason I'm not giving the product a 1 star but it definitely doesn't deserve five stars and you should still be very careful when purchasing. If you were expecting a new mattress pad to use in your bed and got someone's return, then were left with no replacement options, it would be a very tough situation...

Product works as expected
This product has really helped me sleep. I would recommend the product to anyone who gets hot at night. There are a couple of things I don't like as well. The biggest thing is the unit housing the water is black. You can not see the fill line so it is very easy to overflow and if you aren't expecting it, you will end up with water all over the place. Especially on the very first fill. You may not want to sleep on the mat directly, because it does get very cold and can feel a little damp. You can also feel the ridges in the mat which I found to be very uncomfortable when laying on the mat directly. I placed a small blanket around the mat (similar to a lap blanket). It helped with both the cold damp feeling and the uncomfortable ridge feeling, making for a perfect night of sleep for me.

Hot garbage
Where to startPros: it cools for the whole night sometimes!Cons: The mattress pad is made of some kind of plastic that must be covered with something more than just a sheet to make it comfortable enough to sleep on it (unless you like sleeping on plastic like a five-year-old who still wets the bed.)The hoses are entirely too short. It only allows you to face the unit in One Direction so if you’re on the opposite side of the bed and want that fan blowing on you as well, you are out of luck.It takes forever to fill, and there is no window to tell you how full it actually is. The only way to know that it is full is when it starts spilling out all over your nightstand. If you run it on High, you may or may not get one full night of cooling out of the unit.It does work so if you don’t mind dealing with the things I just listed then by all means, fork over your hard earned money.I just wish there was something better that isn’t super expensive like a chilipad or 8 sleep but better than this garbage.

Cool Breezy Bedtime
This product is a life saver in the summers. We live in the desert and run hot at night so it keeps us about 10 degrees cooler. Just wish there was a bed sheet or something that would hold it in place sometimes it moves around at night. Great seller responsive and took care of an issue we had.

Works good.
This product works good for the most part. It gets really cool. As far as comfort, it bunches under the sheets and is not as comfortable as we expected. It is lightweight and doesn't make too much noise. The value is okay for the money we spent.

i bought 5. please read my review for tips
first, i love this product. so i own 3 currently. i use one on one side of the giant sized bed, and one on the other side for my GF. i also have one on guest bed. 2 i destroyed on my own stupidity.here are some tips and things ive learned.so one problem is after about 6 months the mattress will start growing mold and makes it harder for water to travel throughout it and cleaning it is a nightmare. so of course my dumb butt pours like a 1/4 cup of bleach in there every night. well after about a month of doing this i realized the bleach completley disolved the inner materials inside it. hesitantly after i purchased new units, i decided to keep doing it, but now only do like a teaspoon every 3rd night or so. so far so good. no destruction of the inner material and im 4 months in. i highly suggest to do this or it will clog up with mold eventually.

Didn’t work for long.
Stopped working less than a year. It worked well while it lasted.
