A superb series and so relaxing
What a pleasant and relaxing series! I learnt a lot from these two intrepid explorers, and the scenery was outstanding. I thought that the two programmes about Venice and The Netherlands would have overshadowed the trip to Scotland and around its shores and islands, but they were just as fascinating. Pru and Tim are an outstanding example of ignoring old age, but relishing life and just savouring every moment. Prunella did so well with her medical problems, but her amazing memory and enthusiasm hid her minor difficulties. I wish that there had been more programmes on the DVDs. What a super advert for GB and its awesome countryside, traditions and pride in its inventions. Britain is a lot more than what others might perceive as being about bad behaviour, graffiti, litter, racism and political dissatisfaction. I shall now order series five.

Interesting book,
Fabulous book, much enjoyed. So interesting could nt put it down. If you enjoyed the series you will enjoy this.answered lot of questions about series.

I hope every one of these seasons makes it onto dvd - wonderful series!
this is an all-time great series, we just love it. We've taken the Llangollen route ourselves, and my husband did a few in the 50's when he still lived in England. But more than that, it's the relationship between these two, and the lovely peaceful pace of it, that is just a delight.
