The travel case is compact but only covers the end that picks up food. However this is not a concern for me as long as they cover the utensil from getting contaminated before use and from transferring leftover food stains.The quality of the set overall is great an durable. I like how they are dishwasher friendly and this is an important feature that parents with young kids would appreciate as This is my set had gone through several rounds in the dishwasher and showed no issue so far.

This little travel utensil kit is really unique. I like how it folds up, and how it looks when it’s all closed up. It sort of looks like a lollipop, and is easy to tell where it is in your bag. It includes a spoon, fork, and the carrying case (with a wrist holder attached). It also comes with some stickers, just in case the spoon and fork need to be decorated.The cutlery itself is larger than something you’d give to say a toddler, but it isn’t full sized. It’s probably best suited for an older child. The forks prongs are thicker, but they aren’t too hard to use. I also don’t think its too hard for them to put back into the carrying case, once they’re done using them. It’s not as straightforward as a box, but once you teach them how it’s not too difficult.I think for an on-the-go set, this is a good choice. I think it’s made pretty well, and for $18 it’s a good little set. I think the best thing about it is how easy it is to spot, as it’s a really weird shape, though that does make it a bit harder to pack around if everything else is in boxes.
