Apple Cinnamon Cheerios Gluten Free Cereal 22.7 oz Box

I've always been a fan of Cheerios - the oatiness, the wholesomeness, the no-frills presentation. It is simple, and it works. I haven't really branched out into the other flavors of Cheerios that are out there. I suppose I wanted to stick to the basics because that's what I've always enjoyed. But these apple cinnamon Cheerios are actually pretty darn good. They aren't too sugary or heavy on the cinnamon - rather, they are a perfect blend of apple and cinnamon, and they aren't overtly sugary, either. I'm reviewing this item in late September, so this cereal puts me in a good Fall-ish mood.The downside: The serving size is only 3/4 cup. I don't know who only eats 3/4 a cup of cereal at a time! Certainly not me. I'm pretty sure a normal-sized cereal bowl puts you at a cup and a half? So if you're used to the larger serving size of plain Cheerios, you won't find that here. For 3/4 cup, you get 120 calories, 10 grams of sugar, and 2 grams of fiber. These Cheerios don't taste sweet, and I like the light cinnamon taste, but I was very surprised to see that 3/4 cup has 24g of carbs, 10g of which is sugar. That's a serving size of 6oz, not even a full 8oz cup! I'm not a health nut, but this just seems like a lot of sugar and carbs for breakfast, and I won't be feeding this to my kids anytime soon.

This cereal was shipped to my daughter in Winter Park Florida. They (My daughter and her children) are really enjoying it. Delivery was very goodand I would recommend this cereal highly.

It is only cereal. What more can you say?

Really, really great product. Wonderful product for anyone in need of a good gluten free cereal. You will have no idea that it's gluten free. Taste, texture, and digestion are all excellent.
